Abstract

PENGARUH TEKNIK PROPRIOCEPTIVE NEUROMUSCULAR FACILITATION TERHADAP PENURUNAN DENYUT NADI PASCA LATIHAN PADA ATLET PENCAK SILAT DEWASA *ABSTRAK* Abstrak. This study aims to investigate the effect of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) technique on post-exercise heart rate reduction in adult Pencak Silat athletes. The research utilizes an experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group approach. Sampling for this study is conducted using purposive sampling technique. The sample size consists of 24 individuals. The research instrument employed is an oximeter. Data analysis employs paired sample t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results of this study reveal a significant impact of PNF technique usage on reducing heart rate among Pencak Silat athletes. This is substantiated by the t-test outcome, where the calculated t-value = 5.806 > t-table = 3.105, and the 2-tailed Sig. value = 0.00 < the significance level of 0.05. Based on the t-test results, the study concludes that there is a significant difference in the effect of PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) technique on post-exercise heart rate reduction in adult Pencak Silat athletes.. Keywords: proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, heart rate, adult pencak silat athletes, exercise, recovery.
