Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital semakin maju, namun tidak dipungkiri masih sering terjadi ujaran kebencian, berita palsu, dan fitnah serta berujung pada cyberbullying di media sosial. Orang tua yang menerapkan pola asuh terkait dengan teknologi digital, anak berpeluang memiliki digital citizenship yang baik. Lingkungan kelas dalam proses pembelajaran yang mendukung, siswa berpeluang memiliki digital citizenship yang baik. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh parental mediation dan lingkungan kelas terhadap digital citizenship siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif dan melibatkan 222 siswa kelas VII dam VIII di salah satu sekolah di DKI Jakarta. Penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan jenis teknik simple random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar orang tua responden memiliki capaian yang tinggi pada parental mediation (46,4%). Artinya orang tua siswa telah menerapkan parental mediation yang baik. Sebagian besar responden memiliki capaian yang tinggi pada lingkungan kelas (55,4%). Artinya, siswa memiliki lingkungan kelas yang baik. Sebagian besar responden memiliki capaian yang tinggi pada digital citizenship (66,7%). Artinya, siswa memiliki digital citizenship yang baik. Hasil uji regresi berganda menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh parental mediation dan lingkungan kelas terhadap digital citizenship siswa (p-value<0,05). Oleh karena itu, orang tua perlu mempertahankan dan meningkatkan parental mediation kepada anak. Selain itu, sekolah perlu mempertahankan dan meningkatkan lingkungan kelas yang baik untuk mempertahankan digital citizenship siswa. ***** The development of digital technology is increasingly advanced, but it is undeniable that hate speech, fake news, and slander often occur and lead to cyberbullying on social media. Parents who adopt parenting styles related to digital technology have the opportunity for children to have good digital citizenship. The classroom environment in a supportive learning process, students have the opportunity to have good digital citizenship. The research aims to determine the effect of parental mediation and the classroom environment on students' digital citizenship. The research used an associative quantitative approach and involved 222 students of class VII and VIII at one of the schools in DKI Jakarta. Withdrawal of samples using probability sampling technique with the type of simple random sampling technique. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and multiple regression tests. The results showed that most of the respondents' parents had high achievements in parental mediation (46.4%). This means that parents of students have implemented good parental mediation. Most of the respondents have high achievement in the classroom environment (55.4%). That is, students have a good classroom environment. Most of the respondents have high achievement in digital citizenship (66.7%). This means that students have good digital citizenship. The results of multiple regression tests show that there is an effect of parental mediation and the classroom environment on students' digital citizenship (p-value <0.05). Therefore, parents need to maintain and increase parental mediation to their children. In addition, schools need to maintain and improve a good classroom environment to maintain students' digital citizenship.
