Abstract

ABSTRAK. Aini Shofiyah Rahmatillah. Upaya Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Sejarah Siswa Kelas XI MIPA 4 SMAN 31 Jakarta Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Role Playing. Skripsi, Jakarta : Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2023. Target penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa dari kategori sedang ke kategori tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Role Playing. Penelitian ini di laksanakan kurang lebih selama tiga bulan dari bulan Maret sampai bulan Mei 2023 di SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI MIPA 4 yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dibagi ke dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu : perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti terjun langsung sebagai tenaga pengajar berkolaborasi dengan guru Sejarah Indonesia SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta. Pada penelitian ini, penerapan model pembelajaran role playing langsung dilaksanakan pada siklus pertama dan dicukupkan pada siklus kedua karena motivasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI MIPA 4 telah meningkat dari rata-rata indikator motivasi sebesar 44,06% atau kategori sedang ke kategori tinggi sebesar 66,95%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran role playing dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: History Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University, 2023. The research target of this study was to increase student's motivation to learn history from the medium to high category. This study aims to increase students' motivation to learn history using the Role Playing Learning Model. This research was carried out for approximately three months from March to May 2023 at SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta. This research was conducted in class XI MIPA 4 with a total of 36 students. This research method uses the Classroom Action Research method which is divided into two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. In this study, the researchers worked directly as teaching staff in collaboration with Indonesian History teachers at SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta. In this study, the application of the role-playing learning model was carried out directly in the first cycle and was sufficient in the second cycle because the motivation to study history for class XI MIPA 4 students had increased from an average motivation indicator of 44.06% or the medium category to the high category of 66.95%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the role-playing learning model can increase the motivation to learn history in class XI MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta.
