Abstract
Renang merupakan mata kuliah wajib bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan dan Rekreasi Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Medan yang menghasilkan lulusan yang memiliki kemampuan mendidik, mengajar renang yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran renang gaya bebas berbasis website. Model pembelajaran renang dapat dipelajari secara online yang diakses melalui komputer, laptop atau smartphone selanjudnya dipraktekkan di kolam renang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang mengacu kepada 10 langkah pengembangan yang di populerkan oleh Borg and Gall. Model pembelajaran renang berbasis website disusun berdasarkan tahapan gerak teknik-teknik dasar renang gaya bebas yang dapat dipelajari secara online. Susunan model pembelajaran di validasi oleh ahli bidang media pembelajaran, ahli pembelajaran renang, dan praktisi/pelatih renang untuk kelayakan model agar dapat di terapkan. Validasi yang digunakan adalah lembar penilaian ahli media pembelajaran, ahli pembelajaran renang, dan praktisi/pelatih olahraga renang, serta instrumen tes Kemampuan renang gaya bebas. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa model pembelajaran renang gaya bebas yang dikemas dalam bentuk modul elektronik berbasis website dengan memanfaatkan layanan sistem manajemen pembelajaran berbasis database. Berdasarkan penilaian ahli media pembelajaran, ahli pembelajaran renang, dan praktisi/pelatih olahraga renang dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran yang sebenarnya. Uji efektivitas lapangan menunjukkan bahwa hasil pada kolom Equal variances not assumed dan t-test for Equality of Means diperoleh nilai t hitung = 29.29. df = 68 maka didapatkan t tabel = 1.668. Jika dibandingkan maka nilai t hitung > t tabel dan sig (2 tailed) atau p-value = 0.000 < 0.05 atau Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran renang gaya bebas berbasis website efektif meningkatkan Kemampuan renang mahasiswa. Kata Kunci: Renang, Website, Model Pembelajaran, Renang Gaya Bebas DEVELOPMENT OF A WEBSITE-BASED FREESTYLE SWIMMING LEARNING MODELS Raswin Physical Education ABSTRACT Raswin. Swimming is a compulsory subject for students of Physical Education, Health and Recreation at the Faculty of Sports Science, Medan State University which produces graduates who have the ability to educate, teach theory and practice good swimming. This study aims to produce a learning model for the theory and practice of web-based freestyle swimming. The learning model for swimming theory and practice can be studied online which is accessed via a computer, laptop or smartphone and then practiced in the swimming pool. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) which refers to the 10 development steps popularized by Borg and Gall. The website-based swimming theory and practice learning model is compiled based on the motion stages of the basic freestyle swimming techniques that can be learned online. The composition of the learning model is validated by experts in the field of learning media, swimming learning experts, and swimming practitioners/trainers for the feasibility of the model so that it can be applied. The validation used is the assessment sheet of learning media experts, swimming learning experts, and swimming sports practitioners/trainers, as well as freestyle swimming skill test instruments. This research produces a learning model product for the theory and practice of freestyle swimming which is packaged in the form of a website-based electronic module by utilizing database-based learning management system services. Based on the assessment of learning media experts, swimming learning experts, and swimming sports practitioners/ trainers it was declared suitable for use in actual learning. The field effectiveness test showed that the results in the Equal variances not assumed column and the t-test for Equality of Means obtained t count = 29.29. df = 68 then we get t table = 1.668. When compared, the value of t count > t table and sig (2 tailed) or p-value = 0.000 <0.05 or Ho is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that the freestyle learning model based on the website effectively improves students' swimming skills Keywords: Swimming, Website, Learning Model, Free Style Swimming
