Abstract

Keterampilan non kognitif merupakan sikap dan keyakinan, kebiasaan dan proses, serta sifat dan kepribadian. Keterampilan tersebut berhubungan dengan bidang pendidikan (materi pokok maupun kompetensi yang digunakan) dan bidang sosial ekonomi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian keterampilan non kognitif dan menghasilkan paket instrumen siap pakai. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) dengan bantuan software MPlus, Rasch Partial Credit Model (PCM), dan Rasch Rating Scale Model (RSM) dengan bantuan software Winsteps. Tahapan penelitian mengikuti alur pengembangan Gable. Sampel yang digunakan terdiri dari: 210 siswa untuk uji coba penelitian; dan 834 siswa untuk uji sampel besar. Sampel tersebut melibatkan siswa dari beberapa SMPN di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Exploratory Factor Analysis menghasilkan delapan faktor, yaitu: berpikir kritis, keterbukaan berpikir, akurasi, ketekunan, kecermatan, kemampuan berinovasi, tanggung jawab, dan kepekaan. Hasil Analisis Rasch menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penilaian keterampilan non kognitif pada pelajaran IPA mempunyai kategori sebagai berikut: a) domain sikap dan keyakinan menghasilkan item dengan prosentase sebanyak 25% rata-rata persetujuan , 25% susah disetujui, dan 50% mudah disetujui; b) domain kebiasaan dan proses menghasilkan item dengan prosentase sebanyak 50% rata-rata persetujuan, 11% susah disetujui, dan 39% mudah disetujui; c) domain sifat kepribadian menghasilkan item dengan prosentase sebanyak 40% susah disetujui, dan 60% mudah disetujui. Analisis Rasch menghasilkan 31 item fit. Dengan demikian, hasil tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai rujukan untuk melakukan penelitian tahap selanjutnya dengan jumlah responden yang lebih beragam. Instrumen penilaian ini telah valid dan reliabel untuk digunakan sebagai alat ukur terhadap keterampilan non kognitif siswa. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan non kognitif, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Rasch Partial Credit Model, Rasch Rating Scale Model, Alur pengembangan Gable Non-cognitive skills are attitudes and beliefs, habits and processes, as well as traits and personality. These skills relate to the field of education (subject matter and competencies used) and the socio-economic field. The purpose of this study was to develop non-cognitive skill assessment instruments and produce ready-to-use instrument packages. The analytical method used is Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) with the help of MPlus software, Rasch Partial Credit Model (PCM), and Rasch Rating Scale Model (RSM) with the help of Winsteps software. The research stages follow Gable's development flow. The sample used consisted of: 210 students for research trials; and 834 students for the large sample test. The sample involved students from several SMPNs in the DKI Jakarta area. Exploratory Factor Analysis produces eight factors, namely: critical thinking, open-mindedness, accuracy, perseverance, thoroughness, ability to innovate, responsibility, and sensitivity. The results of the Rasch analysis show that the instrument for assessing non-cognitive skills in science lessons has the following categories: a) the domain of attitudes and beliefs produces items with a percentage of 25% average approval, 25% difficult to agree, and 50% easy to agree; b) the domain of habits and processes produces items with a percentage of 50% average approval, 11% difficult to approve, and 39% easy to approve; c) the personality trait domain produces items with a percentage of 40% difficult to agree, and 60% easy to agree. Rasch analysis yielded 31 fit items. Thus, these results can be used as a reference for conducting further research with a more diverse number of respondents. This assessment instrument is valid and reliable to be used as a measuring tool for students' non-cognitive skills.
