Abstract

Kesiapan kerja menjadi hal yang penting dimiliki oleh para siswa SMK untuk mempersiapkan diri sebagai lulusan yang siap kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui locus of control dan praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja pada siswa kelas XII SMKN 50 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik regresi linear berganda. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan angket atau kuisioner dengan penggunaan skala pengukuran yaitu skala likert. Alat bantu yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan IBM SPSS 24.0. Populasi dalam penelitian yang terjangkau sebanyak 211 siswa dan penggunaan sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 138 siswa menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat tingkat kesalahan 5%. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan proportionate random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan terdiri dari: 1.) Uji Instrumen dengan uji validitas dan reabilitas; 2.) Uji persyaratan analisis yaitu dengan uji normalitas dan reabilitas; 3.) Uji asumsi klasik dengan multikolinearitas dan heterokedastisitas; dan 4.) Uji hipotesis dengan uji F, uji T serta, 5.) Koefisien determinasi. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan dalam penelitian ini bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara Locus of Control dan Praktik Kerja Industri terhadap Kesiapan Kerja. Pada perhitungan koefisien determinasi diketahui bahwa nilai kontribusi persentase yang didapat sebesar 41,0% dan sisanya sebanyak 59% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. ********* Work readiness is important for vocational students, to prepared themselves as graduates who are ready to work. This study aims to determine the effect of locus of control and internship on work readiness students at SMKN 50 Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative method approach using survey methods. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression statistical analysis. The data collection method in research uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The tools used in the research use IBM SPSS 24.0. The population in the study that was reachable was 211 students, and the sample used in the study was 138 students using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5%. The sampling technique in this study used proportionate stratified random sampling. The data analysis technique used consists of 1.) Instrument Test with validity and reliability tests; 2.) Test requirements analysis, namely by testing normality and reliability; 3.) Classical assumption test with multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity; 4.) Test the hypothesis with the F-test, T-test, and the coefficient of determination. Based on the calculations that have been done in this study that there is a positive and significant influence between Locus of Control and Internship on Work Readiness. Then, based on calculating the coefficient of determination, the percentage contribution value obtained was 41.0%, and the remaining 59% was influenced by other variables outside this study.
