Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi penerimaan peserta didik baru secara online di SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada: (1) Perencanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru secara online; (2) langkah-langkah penerimaan peserta didik baru secara online; (3) faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerimaan peserta didik baru secara online. Penelitian mengenai implementasi penerimaan peserta didik secara online di SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data-data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, dengan informan yaitu Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang Kurikulum, Staf Administrasi, Orang Tua calon peserta didik baru, dan calon peserta didik baru SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Perencanaan PPDB Online di SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta disusun oleh bagian manajerial sekolah yaitu Kepala dan Wakil Kepala SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta, kepala dan wakil kepala sekolah akan melakukan rapat internal setelah mereka menerima Juknis yang dikeluarkan oleh Dinas Pendidikan DKI Jakarta. Hal yang dibahas yaitu analisis peserta didik baru, menentukan panitia untuk PPDB online, menentukan informasi yang akan dibagikan dan melakukan sosialisasi PPDB Online. (2) Pelaksanaan PPDB online di SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta sudah sesuai dengan Juknis dan peraturan yang berlaku. Pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023 SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta membuka empat jalur pendaftaran yaitu jalur prestasi, jalur afirmasi, jalur zonasi, dan jalur perpindahan tugas orang tua, serta ada tahap kedua bagi calon peserta didik baru yang belum diterima pada semua jalur pendaftaran tersebut. (3) Terdapat dua faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi dari pelaksanaan PPDB online yaitu pengetahuan maupun pemahaman mengenai teknologi dan sistem yang berlaku pada PPDB online dan penyampaian informasi mengenai PPDB Online. ***** This research aims to describe the implementation of online sddmission of new students at SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta. This research focuses on: (1) Planning for online admission of new students; (2) steps for admission new students online; (3) supporting and inhibiting factors for online admission of new students. Research on the implementation of online student admissions at SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The research data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation studies, with informants namely Deputy Head of School for Curriculum, Administrative Staff, Parents of prospective new students, and prospective new students of SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta. The results of the study show that (1) PPDB Online planning at SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta is prepared by the school's managerial section, namely the Head and Deputy Head of SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta, the head and deputy principals will hold an internal meeting after they receive the Juknis issued by the DKI Jakarta Education Office. The things discussed were the analysis of new students, determining the committee for PPDB online, determining the information to be shared and conducting PPDB Online socialization. (2) The implementation of PPDB online at SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta is in accordance with the technical guidelines and applicable regulations. In the 2022/2023 school year, SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta will open four registration pathways, namely the achievement path, the affirmation path, the zoning pathway, and the parental assignment path, and there is a second stage for prospective new students who have not been accepted in all of these registration pathways. (3) There are two factors that can influence the implementation of PPDB online, namely knowledge and understanding of the technology and systems that apply to PPDB online and delivery of information about PPDB Online.
