Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang menjadi penghampat remaja dalam mencapai kesuksesan karirnya adalah munculnya perasaan cemas dan takut. Sementara itu menjadi pencarian identitas diri yang menjadi sumber umum dari kecemasan karir. Kecemasan karir dimaksud sebagai keadaan dimana seorang tidak sanggup membuat keputusan sebab suasana intersepsi dalam proses pengambilann keputusan karir. Aspek-aspek dalam kecemasan karir yaitu kemampuan pribadi, keyakinan irasional tentang pekerjaan, lingkungan kerja, dan pelatihan pendidikan professional. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh eksplorasi karir (career exploration) dan dukungan sosial orang tua (parental social parenting) terhadap tingkat kecemasan karir (career anxiety) pada siswa SMA Negeri 75 Jakarta. Desain penelitian ex-post facto yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Multiple Correlation. Populasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 75 Jakarta yang berjumlah 252 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 155 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil bahwa eksplorasi karir terhadap kecemasan karir tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dengan nilai thitung sebesar 0,500(< ttabel 1,975 dengan kesimpulan bahwa variabel eksplorasi karir tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan untuk variabel kecemasan karir. Sementara itu dukungan sosial orangtua menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial orangtua terhadap kecemasan karir dengan nilai thitung sebesar 2,745 (> ttabel 1,975. Selanjutnya secara keseluruhan eksplorasi karir dan dukungan sosial orangtua terhadap kecemasan karir terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel tersebut dengan nilai fhitung sebesar 3,857 (> ftabel 3,06. Sehingga terdapat pengaruh variable eksplorasi karir dan dukungan sosial orangtua terhadap kecemasan karir. ***** One factor that hinders adolescents in achieving career success is the emergence of feelings of anxiety and fear. While it is the search for self-identity that is a common source of career anxiety. Career anxiety is referred to as a state where a person is unable to make a decision because of the atmosphere of interception in the career decision-making process. The aspects of career anxiety are personal abilities, irrational beliefs about work, work environment, and professional education training. The phase of students sorting and choosing majors according to their interests and talents is called career exploration. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of career exploration and parental social parenting support on the level of career anxiety in students of SMA Negeri 75 Jakarta. The ex-post facto research design used in this study is Multiple Correlation. The population taken in this study was class XII students of SMA Negeri 75 Jakarta, totaling 252 students. The sample in this study amounted to 155 students. Based on the results of the study, it was found that career exploration on career anxiety had no significant effect with a tcount value of 0.500 (< t table 1.975 with the conclusion that the career exploration variable did not have a significant effect on the career anxiety variable. Meanwhile, parental social support shows that there is a significant influence between parental social support on career anxiety with a tcount value of 2.745 (> t table 1.975. Furthermore, overall career exploration and parental social support on career anxiety there is a significant relationship between these variables with a value of fcount of 3.857 (> ftabel 3.06.). So that there is an influence of career exploration variables and parental social support on career anxiety.
