Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat alat pemberi makan kucing otomatis dan sistem monitoring pertumbuhan kucing. Alat yang dibuat dalam penelitian ini dapat memberi makan kucing sesuai dengan porsi makan kucing berdasarkan berat badan kucing yang diinput pengguna melalui keypad. Selain itu, alat juga dapat mengirim informasi berupa berat makanan yang telah dikonsumsi kucing dan perubahan berat badan kucing setiap waktu pemberian makan melalui aplikasi Telegram untuk memantau pertumbuhan kucing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah rekayasa teknik, yaitu teknik menyelesaikan masalah manusia dengan ilmu dan teknologi. Penelitian dilakukan melalui tahap perancangan, tahap pembuatan, tahap instalasi alat. Produk yang telah dibuat diuji, dianalisis dan dibuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa porsi makan yang dikeluarkan alat ini memiliki toleransi kesalahan rata-rata sebesar 3,2% dari porsi makan referensi. Sensor load cell 5 kg yang digunakan untuk menimbang berat badan kucing otomatis memiliki persentase error pengukuran rata-rata sebesar 0,24% jika dibandingkan dengan pengukuran timbangan digital. Pada penelitian kali ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat pemberi makan kucing dan sistem monitoring pertumbuhan kucing yang telah dibuat dapat bekerja dengan cukup baik. ***** This research aims to create an automatic cat feeder and a cat growth monitoring system. The device developed in this research can provide food to the cat according to the cat's meal portion based on the cat's weight input by the user through a keypad. Additionally, the device can also send information such as the weight of the food consumed by the cat and the cat's weight change at each feeding time through the Telegram application to monitor the cat's growth. The research method used is engineering, which is a technique for solving human problems with science and technology. The research was carried out through the design phase, the production phase, and the installation phase of the device. The product that has been created was tested, analyzed, and conclusions were drawn. The research results show that the portion of food dispensed by this device has an average error tolerance of 3,2%. The 5 kg load cell sensor used to weigh the cat's weight automatically has an average measurement error percentage of 0.24% when compared to digital weighing measurements. From this research, it can be concluded that the automatic cat feeder and cat growth monitoring system created can work quite well.
