Abstract

Angastifa Pinakesti, Hubungan Terpaan Media Sosial Dengan Civic Disposition (Studi di SMKN 15 Jakarta). Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberadaan hubungan antara Terpaan Media Sosial yaitu Instagram dan Tiktok dengan Civic Disposition peserta didik kelas XI SMKN 15 Jakarta. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional yang melibatkan 123 peserta didik yang diambil dari jumlah populasi sebanyak 178 peserta didik. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan rumus slovin. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen uji coba dilakukan kepada 30 orang responden sehingga diperoleh 35 pertanyaan valid dan 15 drop dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Disisi lain, instrumen variabel Y diperoleh hasil 35 pertanyaan valid dan 15 drop. Sedangkan hasil uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach untuk variabel X diperoleh nilai 0,872 dan variabel Y diperoleh 0,958. Sehingga instrumen uji coba ini valid dan reliabel. Selanjutnya data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan uji normalitas dan linearitas untuk memenuhi prasyarat analisis data dengan hasil berdistribusi normal dan linear, sehingga layak untuk dilakukan uji hipotesis. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukan bahwa Terpaan Media Sosial memiliki hubungan dengan Civic Disposition. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil perhitungan uji korelasi product moment yaitu rhitung0,245 > rtabel0,176 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,006. Uji koefisien determinasi menghasilkan nilai R-square sebesar 0,60 atau sebesar 6% hubungan yang terjadi antara terpaan media sosial dengan civic disposition. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut adalah terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan dengan tingkat hubungan yang rendah antara Terpaan Media Sosial dengan Civic Disposition pada peserta didik kelas XI SMKN 15 Jakarta. This study aims to show empirical data on the existence of a correlation between Social Media Exposure, namely Instagram and Tiktok with Civic Disposition of grade XI students of SMKN 15 Jakarta. The approach used is quantitative with a correlational method involving 123 students taken from a population of 178 students. The sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique with the slovin formula. The validity and reliability test of the trial instrument was carried out on 30 respondents so that 35 valid questions and 15 drops were obtained with a significance level of 0.05. On the other hand, the variable instrument Y obtained the results of 35 valid questions and 15 drops. While the reliability test results using the Cronbach Alpha formula for variable X obtained a value of 0.872 and variable Y obtained 0.958. So that this test instrument is valid and reliable. Furthermore, the data obtained are then analyzed with normality and linearity tests to meet the prerequisites for data analysis with normal and linear distributed results, so that it is feasible to test the hypothesis The results of hypothesis testing show that Social Media Exposure has a correlation with Civic Disposition. This is evident from the calculation of the product moment correlation test, which is calculated 0.245 > 0.176 with a significance value of 0.006. The coefficient of determination test resulted in an R-square value of 0.60 or 6% of the relationship that occurred between social media exposure and civic disposition. The conclusion that can be drawn based on the results of the study is that there is a positive and significant correlation between Social Media Exposure and Civic Disposition in grade XI students of SMKN 15 Jakarta.
