Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang manajemen hubungan sekolah dengan dunia usaha/dunia industri (DU/DI) di SMK Negeri 58 Jakarta yang berfokus pada aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Pemeriksaan dan pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan melalui tahapan kredibilitas data, transferabilitas, dependebilitas dan konformabilitas. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perencanaan hubungan sekolah dengan dunia usaha (DU/DI) dilaksanakan sebelum PKL dimulai. Kegiatan perencanaan dimulai dari pemetaan perusahaan sesuai dengan kompetensi keahlian, mengenali calon mitra, negosiasi serta penandatanganan MoU. (2) Dalam pelaksanaan hubungan sekolah dengan dunia usaha/dunia industri (DU/DI) dilakukan dengan berpedoman pada MoU. Komunikasi yang terjalin antara kedua belah pihak secara rutin dilakukan. Kerjasama yang telah disepakati antara SMK Negeri 58 Jakarta dengan perusahaan adalah untuk tempat PKL siswa, menjadi guru tamu, singkronisasi kurikulum, dan hibah peralatan. (3) evaluasi hubungan sekolah dengan dunia usaha/dunia industri (DU/DI) dilakukan oleh sekolah dan DU/DI dengan memonitoring kegiatan yang sedang berlangsung untuk mengetahui kelemahan sehingga hasil dari monitoring ini akan menjadi masukan pada program selanjutnya.*****This study aims to describe the management of school relation with the business world/industrial world (DU/DI) at SMK Negeri 58 Jakarta which focuses on aspects of planning, implementation and evaluation. This research approach is qualitative with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis used is data reduction, data display and data verification. Checking and checking the validity of the data is done through the stages of data credibility, transferability, dependability and conformability. The results of the study show that (1) planning for school relations with the business world is carried out before on the job training begins. Planning activities start from mapping companies according to expertise competencies, recognizing potential partners, negotiating and signing MoUs. (2) In the implementation of school relations with the business world/industrial world is carried out based on the MoU. Communication between the two parties is routinely carried out. The cooperation that has been agreed between SMK Negeri 58 Jakarta and the company is for student on the job training places, guest teachers, curriculum synchronization, and equipment grants. (3) Evaluation of school relations with the business world/industrial world is carried out by schools and industrial by monitoring ongoing activities to find out weaknesses so that the results of this monitoring will be input into the next program.
