Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis partisipasi, mendeskripsikan aktivitas, dan mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat Karang Taruna dalam aktivitas kepemudaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Informan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak empat orang, yang terdiri dari Ketua dan satu anggota Karang Taruna, Ketua RT.04, dan satu orang warga. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dengan Observasi, Wawancara, dan pengumpulan dokumentasi yang berasal dari informan. Setelah itu peneliti melakukan proses triangulasi data dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Proses selanjutnya peneliti melakukan analisis data dengan empat tahapan. Tahapan pertama verbatim dan pengkodean data, tahapan kedua reduksi data, tahapan ketiga penyajian data, dan tahapan keempat penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa Karang Taruna dapat mendorong pemuda untuk meningkatkan rasa bersosialisasi-masyarakat serta berpartisipasi dalam aktivitas kepemudaan. Dengan karang taruna mengadakan aktivitas kepemudaan, meningkatkan motivasi pemuda untuk lebih terlibat dalam aktivitas kepemudaan. Kegiatan kepemudaan di kampung Rawa Bebek berupa hadroh, majelis ta’lim, dan kepanitian 17-an. Faktor pendukung dari penelitian ini merupakan anggota karang taruna yang memiliki rasa kemauan serta berani menyampaikan suara/pendapat, didukung penuh oleh Ketua RT dan pengurus RT lainnya seperti dasa wisma dan PKK, dan juga respon yang positif dari warga RT04. Faktor Penghambat dari penelitian ini diakibatkan oleh para pemuda yang masih malu-malu untuk ikut serta kegiatan kepemudaan dan struktur organisasi yang belum resmi. ***** This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing participation in describing activities and describing the supporting and inhibiting factors of Karang Taruna in youth activities. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a case study approach. There were four informants in this study, consisting of the chairman and one member of the Karang Taruna, the head of 04 neighborhood association, and one resident. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and collection of documentation from informants. After that, the researcher carried out the data triangulation process using source triangulation. The next process the researchers conducted data analysis with four stages. The first stage is verbatim and data coding, the second stage is data reduction, the third stage is presenting data, and the fourth stage is drawing conclusions. The results of the study revealed that Karang Taruna can encourage youth to increase their sense of community and participate in youth activities. With Karang Taruna holding youth activities, increasing youth motivation to be more involved in youth activities. Youth activities in Rawa Bebek village include hadroh, majelis ta'lim, and 17's committees. Supporting factors for this research were youth group members who had a sense of will and dared to express their voices/opinions, fully supported by the head of neighborhood association and other neighborhood association administrators such as Dasa Wisma and PKK, as well as a positive response from residents. The inhibiting factor of this research was caused by the youth who were still shy about participating in youth activities and an unofficial organizational structure.
