Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media kartu permainan berbasis metode picture and picture yang layak dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE: (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) develop, (4) implement, dan (5) evaluate. Berdasarkan validasi ahli didapatkan hasil persentase kelayakan secara keseluruhan sebesar 84,9% dengan rincian ahli media 81%, ahli materi 81,6%, dan ahli bahasa 92%. Sedangkan hasil penilaian siswa terhadap media sebesar 91% dari small group trial, dan 94% dari field test. Pada uji N-Gain terhadap pretest dan posttest menulis puisi didapatkan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,49 yang artinya terdapat peningkatan sedang setelah diterapkannya media. Berdasarkan data yang didapat dari hasil penelitian maka media kartu permainan berbasis metode picture and picture dinyatakan layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. ***** This study aims to develop a game card media based on the picture and picture method that is feasible and effective in improving the poetry writing skills of fourth grade elementary school students. This research method uses Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model: (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) develop, (4) implement, and (5) evaluate. Based on expert validation, the overall percentage of feasibility is 84.9% with details of 81% media experts, 81.6% material experts, and 92% language experts. While the results of student research on the media amounted to 91% of the small group trial, and 94% of the field test. In the N-Gain test of the pretest and posttest of writing poetry, the N-Gain value was 0.49, which means that there was a moderate increase after the application of the media. Based on the data obtained from the research results, the game card media based on the picture and picture method is declared feasible and effective to improve the poetry writing skills of fourth grade elementary school students.
