Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media mobile learning terintegrasi learning management system dengan pendekatan saintifik pada materi struktur atom dan sistem periodik unsur, yang kemudian diuji kelayakannya dan diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar pada SMA Negeri 12 Jakarta. Alur dari November 2021 dan divalidasi hingga uji coba pada Juni hingga Juli 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research & Development (R&D) dari Borg dan Gall, dengan tiga tahap utama yaitu analisis pendahuluan, perencanaan pengembangan model, dan tahap validasi, evaluasi, serta revisi. Media mobile learning yang dikembangkan berupa aplikasi bernama "Struktur Atom dan SPU" untuk smartphone berbasis Android. Media ini berisi materi, video pembelajaran, kuis, permainan, forum diskusi, perangkat pembelajaran, dan daftar pustaka, serta mengadopsi pendekatan saintifik. Pada tahap uji validasi oleh ahli media, diperoleh persentase nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 83,24% dengan reliabilitas (r) sebesar 0,80. Pada tahap uji validasi oleh ahli materi dan bahasa, diperoleh persentase nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 84,64% dan reliabilitas (r) sebesar 0,94. Hasil uji coba media skala kecil pada peserta didik menunjukkan persentase 85,88% dan pada guru sebesar 92,08%. Hasil uji coba media skala besar menunjukkan persentase 96,30% pada peserta didik dan 92,00% pada guru. Secara keseluruhan, hasil uji coba media menunjukkan penilaian dengan kriteria sangat baik. Media mobile learning ini memiliki fitur yang lengkap dan mudah digunakan, sehingga membantu peserta didik dalam memaknai pengalaman dan teori yang didapatkan, dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media mobile learning terintegrasi dengan pendekatan saintifik pada materi struktur atom dan sistem periodik unsur yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai pendukung pembelajaran. Media ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan membantu peserta didik dalam memahami materi kesetimbangan kimia dengan lebih baik melalui pendekatan yang lebih berpengalaman dan interaktif.*****This research aims to develop a mobile learning media integrated with a learning management system using a scientific approach on the topic of atomic structure and the periodic system of elements. The media's feasibility is tested and then implemented in the teaching and learning activities at SMA Negeri 12 Jakarta. The research started in November 2021 and was validated through trials from June to July 2023. The research method used is Research & Development (R&D) by Borg and Gall, consisting of three main stages: preliminary analysis, model development planning, and validation, evaluation, and revision stages. The development mobile learning media is an Android- based application named "Struktur Atom dan Spu." It contains materials, instructional videos, quizzes, games, discussion forums, learning tools, and a bibliography, adopting a scientific approach. In the validation phase by media experts, an overall average percentage of 83.24% with a reliability (r) of 0.80 was obtained. In the validation phase by subject matter and language experts, an overall average percentage of 84.64% with a reliability (r) of 0.94 was obtained. The results of small-scale media trials with students showed a percentage of 85.88%, and with teachers, it was 92.08%. The results of large-scale media trials showed a percentage of 96.30% with students and 92.00% with teachers. Overall, the media trial results indicated an excellent assessment. The mobile learning media has comprehensive and user-friendly features, helping students interpret their experiences and acquired theories while enhancing their learning motivation. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the integrated mobile learning media using a scientific approach on atomic structure and the periodic system of elements is suitable for supporting learning. This media improves the quality of learning and assists students in better understanding chemical equilibrium materials through a more experiential and interactive approach.
