Abstract

Pengangguran adalah salah satu masalah yang belum terpecahkan dari tahun ke tahun di berbagai negara di dunia termasuk juga Indonesia Permasalahan ini tidak bisa dibiarkan, karena jika angka pengangguran tinggi maka akan mengakibatkan meningkatnya kriminalitas, kemiskinan dan fenomena ekonomi sosial lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh upah riil, investasi dan tingkat pendidikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di 34 provinsi yang ada di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis regresesi data panel. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dari tahun 2017-2022. Penyerapan tenaga kerja di pengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, namun dalam penelitian ini digunakan tiga variabel dependen yaitu upah riil, investasi dan tingkat pendidikan. Dari hasil analisil uji statistik menggunakan eviews menunjukkan bahwa upah riil berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja, investasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja dan tingkat pendidikan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja. Kata kunci : upah, investasi, tingkat pendidikan dan penyerapan tenaga kerja. *** Unemployment is one of the unresolved problems from year to year in various countries in the world, including Indonesia. This problem cannot be ignored, because if the unemployment rate is high, it will result in increased crime, poverty and other social-economic phenomena. This study aims to analyze the effect of real wages, investment and level of education on employment. workforce in 34 provinces in Indonesia in 2017-2022. The method used in this research is quantitative method using panel data regression analysis. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Pust Statistics Agency (BPS) from 2017-2022. Labor absorption is influenced by several factors, but in this study three dependent variables were used, namely the real wages, investment value, level of education and the independent variable, namely the absorption. From the results of statistical tests using eviews, The results of the analysis show that real wages have a negative and insignificant effect on employment absorption, investment has a positive and significant effect on employment absorption and the level of education has a negative and significant effect on employment absorption.
