Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses perencanaa, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Robotik di SMAN 28 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November 2019 hingga bulan januari 2020 dengan objek penelitian di SMAN 28 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan beberapa pedoman diantaranya pedoman wawancara mendalam, studi dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Robotik dilakukan satu tahun sekali melalui rapat tahunan dan dituangkan dalam bentuk program kerja. (2) Pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler Robotik dilaksanakan setiap hari jumat dimulai dari pukul 15.00 – Selesai. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di ruang robotik atau ruang prestasi ataupun di ruang audio visual. Materi yang diajarkan dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler robotik meliputi pelatihan materi, public speaking, motivation Leadership, persiapan mengikuti perlombaan, ataupun persiapan untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan besar yang tertuang dalam program kerja. (3) Pengawasan Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Robotik di SMAN 28 Jakarta dilakukan setiap diadakannya kegiatan. Pengawasan dilakukan oleh wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, Pembina, pelatih kegiatan ekstrakurikuler robotik SMAN 28 Jakarta dan orang tua. Pengawasan dilakukan dengan melakukan pengawasan langsung terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler robotik. Hal dni betujuan agar proses memastikan bahwa kegiatan dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur dan untuk mengecek kehadiran siswa. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses pengawasan yaitu ketika pihak sekolah tidak dapat mengawasi pelaksanaan kegiatan ektrakurikuler robotik SMAN 28 Jakarta, namun kendala tersebut dapat diatasi dengan adanya kerjasama antara pihak sekolah dan orang tua. Keberhasilan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Robotik semata-mata agar siswa memiliki wadah untuk mengembangkan minat serta bakat dengan kegiatan positif dan masih dalam pengawasan pihak sekolah serta siswa dapat memperoleh prestasi selain dibidang akademik. ABSTRACT This study aimed to investigate the process of planning, implementing and monitoring the Robotic Extracurricular Activities at SMAN 28 Jakarta. The research was conducted from November 2019 to January 2020 with the research object of SMAN 28 Jakarta. The method used is descriptive design with a qualitative approach, where the data collection used several tools including in-depth interview tools, documentation study, and observation. The results showed that: (1) The planning of Robotic extracurricular activities is carried out once a year through annual meetings and outlined in the form of work programs. (2) The Robotic extracurricular activities are held every Friday starting from 15:00 until finist in the robotics room or the performance room or the audiovisual room. The materials taught in robotic extracurricular activities include training material, public speaking, motivation relationship, preparation for a competition, or preparation for big activities as outlined in the work programs. (3) The supervision of Robotic extracurricular activities at SMAN 28 Jakarta is supervised at every activity by the deputy headmaster of student affairs, the coach, trainers of robotic extracurricular activities and also parents. Supervision is carried out by conducting direct supervision on the implementation of Robotic extracurricular activities. This aimed to ensure that the activities are carried out in under the procedures and to check students’ attendance. The obstacle faced in the supervision process is when the school cannot supervise the activities, but these obstacles can be overcome by the collaboration between the school and parents. The success of Robotic extracurricular activities are for students to have a place to develop their interests and talents in positive activities that still under the school’s supervision and the students can get achievements other than in the academic field.
