Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Manbaul Ulum Asshiddiqiyah Jakarta pada bulan November-Desember 2019. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan bagaimana pembentukan kemandirian siswa dalam belajar melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang dilaksanakan pada kelas VIII SMP Manbaul Ulum Asshiddiqiyah Jakarta. Pengumpulan datanya adalah melalui hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumen. Informan penelitian yang terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan siswa. Nilai kemandirian pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam kurikulum 2013 bertujuan sebagai pembentuk karakter siswa yang mengembangkan nalar dan sikap moral yang selaras dengan nilai-nilai Islami dalam kehidupan sebagai warga masyarakat, warga negara dan warga dunia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan kemandirian belajar siswa telah dilakukan diantaranya dalam: 1) pembentukan sikap kemantapan pribadi siswa dengan beberapa metode yang digunakan yang mengarahkan kepada pembentukan kemantapan siswa dengan ceramah, diskusi dan kisah-kisah keteladanan yang di masukkan dalam pembelajaran. 2) pembentukan sikap tanggung jawab siswa dengan metode diskusi dan penugasan kelompok siswa dan mengikuti kegiatan. 3) pembentukan sikap berdiri sendiri/ independensi siswa dengan cara menggunakan metode tanya jawab atau diskusi, pembiasaan dan metode ganjaran dan hukuman. Pembentukan kemandirian belajar siswa memiliki faktor yang mendukung yakni dari sekolah yang berada di lingkungan pesantren yang memiliki pengaruh cukup kuat dengan adanya peraturan dan sarana dari sekolah. Faktor penghambat dari pembentukan kemandirian belajar siswa diantaranya guru belum menggunakan metode pembelajaran dengan baik, dan sikap siswa yang yang bermacam-macam di dalam kelas. Kata Kunci: Pembentukan Kemandirian Belajar, Pendidikan Agama Islam ABSTRACT Ahmad Farhan, Formation of Student Learning Independence through Islamic Education (Case Study of Class VIII Students at Manbaul Ulum Asshiddiqiyah Jakarta), Undergoing Thesis, Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University, 2020. This study aims to describe how the formation of students' independence in learning through Islamic Religious Education in Manbaul Ulum Asshiddiqiyah Junior High School Jakarta because of the influence of cheating issues in learning and one of the abilities needed in facing the modern era. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method where researchers will collect data as deep as possible according to events in the field and describe it in descriptive form. The establishment of independence through the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Human Rights has a purpose in the 2013 curriculum as forming the character of students who develop reason and moral attitudes that are in line with Islamic values in life as citizens, citizens and citizens of the world. The results showed that the formation of students' learning independence through Islamic Religious Education had been carried out including the preparation and implementation in the classroom. The results of the analysis show that the formation of student learning independence has been carried out including in: 1) the formation of students' personal stability attitudes with several methods used that lead to the formation of student stability with lectures, discussions and exemplary stories included in learning. 2) the formation of the attitude of student responsibility by the method of discussion and assignment of student groups. 3) the formation of a stand-alone attitude / independence of students by using the question and answer method or discussion, habituation and methods of reward and punishment. The formation of students' learning independence has a supporting factor, that is, from schools in the pesantren environment which have a strong enough influence with the regulations and facilities of the school. The inhibiting factors of the formation of student learning independence include the state of the classroom which facilities are quite good but have not been able to reduce noise from outside the classroom and poor lighting. teachers who sometimes can not read the conditions of students and use appropriate methods, conditions of personal motivation for students in learning.
