Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara sense of humor dengan stres kerja pada kurir perusahaan jasa antar barang di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dimana hasil penelitian diuji menggunakan analisis korelasi Pearson. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan jenis purposive sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 152 responden, terdiri dari kurir perusahaan jasa antar barang di Jakarta. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Job Stress Scale (JSS) yang disusun oleh Parker dan DeCotiis (1983) untuk mengukur variabel stres kerja dan Multidimensional Sense of Humor Scale (MSHS) yang dirancang oleh Thorson dan Powell (1993) untuk mengukur sense of humor. Hasil temuan memperoleh nilai p = 0.644 > 0.05, artinya variabel sense of humor tidak memiliki hubungan dengan stres kerja pada kurir perusahaan jasa antar barang di Jakarta. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the relationship between sense of humor and job stress in couriers of delivery service company in Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative method where the results of the study are tested using Pearson correlation analysis. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 152 respondents, consisting of couriers of freight forwarding company in Jakarta. The measuring instruments used in this study are the Job Stress Scale (JSS) developed by Parker and DeCotiis (1983) to measure job stress variables and the Multidimensional Sense of Humor Scale (MSHS) designed by Thorson and Powell (1993) to measure sense of humor. The results showed a value of p = 0.644 > 0.05, meaning that the sense of humor variable has no relationship with job stress in couriers of delivery service company in Jakarta.
