Abstract

Kemampuan metakognitif adalah suatu keterampilan yang dimiliki oleh siswa untuk mengontrol proses belajarnya, mulai dari tahap perencanaan, memilih strategi yang tepat, lalu memantau serta menganalisis keefektifan dari strategi yang sudah dipilih. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan metakognitif siswa, diperlukan model pembelajaran yang tepat yaitu model Problem Based Learning (PBL) serta ditinjau dari tingkat kecemasan pada siswa. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan metakognitif ditinjau dari tingkat kecemasan siswa SMA pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Tangerang, pada semester genap Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen menggunakan dua kelompok yakni eksperimen dan kontrol, dengan desain penelitian yakni desain faktorial 2 x 2 dengan rancangan pretest posttest control group design. Sampel berjumlah 100 siswa yang diambil menggunakan simple random sampling. Ada dua instrumen yang dikembangkan yang reliabilitasnya 0,75 untuk kemampuan metakognitif dan 0,95 untuk tingkat kecemasan. Data dianalisis dengan Anacova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan tingkat kecemasan keduanya memiliki nilai terhadap kemampuan metakognitif siswa berdasarkan perhitungan Uji Anacova dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 yakni (sig.) < α = 0.05, sehingga H0 ditolak. Hasil penelitian menandakan model pembelajaran dan tingkat kecemasan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan metakognitif siswa. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan tingkat kecemasan terhadap kemampuan metakognitif siswa pada materi perubahan lingkungan. ***** Metacognitive ability is a skill possessed by students to control their learning process, starting from the planning stage, choosing the right strategy, then monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of the strategy that has been chosen. To improve students' metacognitive abilities, an appropriate learning model is needed, namely the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and in terms of the level of anxiety in students. Therefore this study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on metacognitive abilities in terms of the anxiety level of high school students on environmental change material. his research was conducted at Muhammadiyah 2 Tangerang High School, in the even semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The method used is a quasi-experimental method using two groups, namely experiment and control, with a research design namely a 2 x 2 factorial design with a pretest posttest control group design. A sample of 100 students was taken using simple random sampling. There are two instruments developed that have 0.75 reliability for metakogniative and 0.95 for anxiety levels. Data analyzed with Anacova. The results showed that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the level of anxiety both had values for students' metacognitive abilities based on the calculation of the Anacova test with a significance value of 0.000 (sig.) < α = 0.05, so H0 was rejected. The results of the study indicate that learning models and anxiety levels affect students' metacognitive abilities. From these data it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the level of anxiety on students' metacognitive abilities in environmental change material.
