Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang ujaran kebencian di platform media sosial Twitter. Penelitian ini melihat bentuk ujaran warganet beserta maknanya dalam cuitan pada akun Twitter @txtdrberseragam terhadap tingkah laku “orang berseragam.” Respon masyarakat terhadap unggahan di akun @txtdrberseragam ini dapat melanggar Undang-Undang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik (UU ITE). Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah Linguistik Forensik dan memiliki subfokus meneliti bentuk ujaran kebencian dan makna ujarannya. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi. Langkah-langkah analisis data termasuk pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya potensi ujaran kebencian dalam 25 data yang terkumpul dari ujaran warganet pada akun @txtdrberseragam. Dari data tersebut, terdapat 3 bentuk ujaran kebencian: 21 cuitan kategori penghinaan ringan, 5 cuitan kategori fitnah, dan 3 cuitan kategori pencemaran nama baik. Dalam analisis makna, terdapat 11 data dalam bentuk kata, 8 data dalam bentuk frasa, dan 6 data dalam bentuk kalimat yang bermakna nama hewan, tuduhan kecurangan, tingkat intelektualitas rendah, dan penggambaran kelompok ekonomi rendah. Pasal 27 ayat (3) Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik adalah pasal yang paling berpotensi dilanggar karena semua data memenuhi unsur yang menjerat. ***** This research discusses hate speech on the social media platform Twitter. This research looks at the form of netizen utterances and their meanings in tweets on the Twitter account @txtdrberseragam against the behaviours of "people in uniform". The public's response to the posts on the @txtdrberseragam account can violate the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (UU ITE). The focus of this research is Forensic Linguistics and has a sub-focus on examining the form of hate speech and the meaning of the speech. The research method uses descriptive qualitative with observation data collection technique. The steps of data analysis include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed the potential for hate speech in 25 data collected from netizen utterances on the @txtdrberseragam account. From these data, there are 3 forms of hate speech: 21 tweets in the category of mild insult, 5 tweets in the category of slander, and 3 tweets in the category of defamation. In the meaning analysis, there are 11 data in the form of words, 8 data in the form of phrases, and 6 data in the form of sentences that mean animal names, accusations of cheating, low intellectual level, and depiction of low economic groups. Pasal 27 ayat (3) Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik is the article that has the most potential to be violated because all data fulfill the elements that ensnare.
