Abstract

Tingkatan dan lingkup objek yang dipelajari pada ilmu biologi cukup banyak dan bagian anatomi serta fisiologi tubuh masih sulit untuk dipahami dengan baik. Hal ini dapat menjadi kendala yang menyebabkan adanya miskonsepsi dan memengaruhi pemahaman konsep siswa dalam mempelajari biologi khususnya pada materi sistem pernapasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan suplemen belajar berbasis Augmented Reality (AR SINAPS) terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa SMA pada materi sistem pernapasan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-April 2023 di SMAN 38 Jakarta kelas XI MIPA semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain penelitian pretest and posttest group experiment. Sampel pada penelitian ini dipilih secara acak dengan teknik simple random sampling sebanyak 62 siswa yakni 31 siswa kelas eksperimen (menggunakan AR SINAPS) dan 31 siswa kelas kontrol (menggunakan E-Modul). Data diperoleh menggunakan instrumen tes pemahaman konsep sebanyak 30 soal pilihan ganda. Selanjutnya, data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan besar peningkatan pemahaman konsep sistem pernapasan diukur dengan uji normalitas gain (N-Gain). Nilai N-Gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yakni kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,69 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,55. Hasil persentase N-Gain kedua kelas berada pada kategori sedang dengan perbedaan kategori efektivitas, yakni kelas eksperimen cukup efektif dan kelas kontrol kurang efektif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan suplemen belajar AR SINAPS terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa SMA pada materi sistem pernapasan. ***** There are many levels and scopes of objects studied in biology, and parts of the anatomy and physiology of the body still need to be understood properly. This can be an obstacle that needs to be clarified and affect students' understanding of concepts in studying biology, especially in the material of the respiratory system. This study aims to determine the effect of Augmented Reality-based learning supplements (AR SINAPS) on high school students' conceptual understanding of respiratory system material. This research was conducted in January-April 2023 at SMAN 38 Jakarta class XI MIPA even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. This study used a quantitative approach with quasi-experimental methods and pretest and posttest group experimental research designs. The sample in this study was randomly selected using the simple random sampling technique of 62 students, namely 31 students in the experimental class (using AR SINAPS) and 31 students in the control class (using the E-Module). Data were obtained using a conceptual understanding test instrument of 30 multiple-choice questions. Furthermore, the collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, and the magnitude of the increase in understanding of the concept of the respiratory system was measured by the normality gain test (N-Gain). The N-Gain value for the experimental class was higher than the control class; the experimental class was 0.69, and the control class was 0.55. The results of the N-Gain percentage of both classes were in the medium category with different categories of effectiveness; the experimental class was quite effective, and the control class was less effective. Based on the study's results, using the AR SINAPS learning supplement significantly affects high school students' conceptual understanding of respiratory system material.
