Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh sikap terhadap pernikahan dengan kesiapan menikah melalui mediator self-esteem pada dewasa awal dengan orang tua bercerai. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Dalam mengukur ketiga variabel tersebut, alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Aspects of Marital Scale (Stacey & Rosen, 2013), Marital Readiness Scale (Keldal & Yildirim, 2022), dan Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1965). Responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 219 dewasa awal dengan orang tua bercerai. Hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara sikap terhadap pernikahan dengan kesiapan menikah sebesar 12,4% (p = 0,000 < 0,05) dan terjadi efek mediasi parsial melalui mediator self-esteem pada sikap terhadap pernikahan serta kesiapan menikah sebesar 0,06 (bootLLCI = 0,0249; bootULCI = 0,1030) pada individu dewasa awal dengan orang tua bercerai. This study aims to look at the effect of attitudes towards marriage on marriage readiness through intermediary self-esteem in early adulthood with divorced parents. In this study, researchers used a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique. In measuring these three variables, the measuring tools used are the Aspects of Marital Scale (Stacey & Rosen, 2013), the Marital Readiness Scale (Keldal & Yildirim, 2022), and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1965). The respondents used in this study consisted of 219 early adults with divorced parents. The results showed that there was an influence between attitudes towards marriage and readiness to marry by 12.4% (p = 0.000 <0.05) and there was a partial mediating effect through the mediator's self-esteem on attitudes towards marriage and readiness to marry by 0.06 (bootLLCI = 0.0249; bootULCI = 0.1030) in early adulthood individuals with divorced parents.
