Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kesiapan menikah dan sikap dalam memiliki anak (attitude about having children). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan melakukan analisis korelasi. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Marriage readiness Scale oleh Shemila dan Manikandan (2018) dan The Procreation Attitude Scale (PrAttS) oleh Marhenke (2019). Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 336 responden laki-laki/perempuan, belum menikah dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara kesiapan menikah dan sikap dalam memiliki anak (attitude about having children). This study aims to determine the relationship between marriage readiness and attitudes about having children. The method used in this study is a quantitative method by performing correlation analysis. The measuring tools used in this study are the Marriage Readiness Scale by Shemila and Manikandan (2018) and The Procreation Attitude Scale (PrAttS) by Marhenke (2019). The sample in this study was 336 male/female respondents and unmarried, using the technique purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between readiness for marriage and attitudes about having children.
