Abstract

Collaboration skills in the 21st-century era are required in professional work life and the globalization era. This study aims to investigate the incorporation of collaboration skills aspect and the incorporation of collaboration skills aspect in each learning activity in the English textbook for 9th grade by using the KSAVE framework. This qualitative study used content analysis to analyze an English textbook for 9th-grade students entitled "Bahasa Inggris Think Globally Act Locally Kelas IX". The study analyzed the collaboration skills aspect using a checklist table analysis. The findings showed that collaboration skills aspects appeared on 86 out of 106 tasks, with skills aspects as the most incorporated collaboration skill aspect. There are 11 out of 14 indicators of collaboration skills were met in 11 chapters in the textbook. Collaboration skills are found the most in associating and the least in the reflecting section. The study also found that learning activities incorporate collaboration skills through group discussion, presentation, roleplay activities, and read-to-each-other. This study's results suggest that teachers are able to use this textbook as an additional learning material to promote students' collaboration skills. ***** Keterampilan kolaborasi di era abad ke-21 diperlukan dalam dunia kerja profesional dan era globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggabungan aspek keterampilan kolaborasi dan penggabungan aspek keterampilan kolaborasi dalam setiap kegiatan pembelajaran pada buku teks bahasa Inggris untuk kelas 9 dengan menggunakan KSAVE framework. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan konten analisis untuk menganalisis buku teks bahasa Inggris untuk siswa kelas IX yang berjudul "Bahasa Inggris Think Globally Act Locally Kelas IX". Studi ini menganalisis aspek keterampilan berkolaborasi dengan menggunakan tabel checklist. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek keterampilan berkolaborasi muncul pada 86 dari 106 tugas, dengan aspek skills sebagai aspek keterampilan berkolaborasi yang paling banyak dimasukkan. Terdapat 11 dari 14 indikator keterampilan kolaborasi yang terpenuhi dalam 11 bab dalam buku teks. Keterampilan kolaborasi paling banyak ditemukan pada bagian associating dan paling sedikit pada bagian reflecting. Studi ini juga menemukan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran yang menggabungkan keterampilan kolaborasi dilakukan melalui kegiatan diskusi kelompok, presentasi, roleplay, dan praktik membaca antar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru dapat menggunakan buku teks ini sebagai bahan ajar tambahan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berkolaborasi siswa.
