Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh father presence terhad ap kecenderungan homoseksual pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi sederhana. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 312 responden yang merupakan remaja berusia 12-20 tahun. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Father Presence Questionnaire (FPQ) rancangan dari Krampe & Newton pada tahun 2006 dan The Grid of Homosexual Tendencies‟s Inventory rancangan dari Fritz Klein pada tahun 2002. Hasil analisis data menunjukan p = 0,010 maka p < 0,05 untuk responden remaja perempuan, dan nilai p = 0,607 maka p >0,05 untuk responden remaja laki-laki. Dengan d emikian, f at her presence memberikan pengaruh n egat if signif ikan t erhad ap kecenderungan homoseksual remaja perempuan dan tidak memberikan pengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kecenderungan homoseksual pada remaja laki-laki. Father presence berpengaruh terhadap orientasi seksual remaja perempuan sebesar 3.5% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak menjadi fokus penelitian ini. This study aims to determine the influence of father's presence on homosexual tendencies in adolescents. This study uses a quantitative approach with a simple regression analysis method. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling with a total sample of 312 respondents who were teenagers aged 12-20 years. The measurement tools used were the Father Presence Questionnaire (FPQ) designed by Krampe & Newton in 2006 and The Grid of Homosexual Tendencies's Inventory designed by Fritz Klein in 2002. The results of data analysis showed p = 0.010, so p <0.05 for female adolescent respondents, and p = 0.607, so p> 0.05 for male adolescent respondents. Thus, father presence has a significant negative effect on the homosexual tendencies of teenage girls and does not have a significant negative effect on the homosexual tendencies of adolescent boys. Father presence affects the sexual orientation of young women by 3.5% and the rest is influenced by other factors which are not the focus of this research.
