Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui pengaruh Intellectual Humility terhadap sikap multicultural mahasiswa perguruan tinggi negeri di DKI Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode sampling incidental sampling. Subjek penelitian merupakan mahasiswa perguruan tinggi negeri di DKI Jakarta khususnya perguruan tinggi negeri di DKI Jakarta pada rentang usia 18-30 tahun, sejumlah 342 responden. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian telah diadaptasi yaitu Comprehensive Intellectual Humility Scale milik Krumrei-Mancuso (2016) dengan reliabilitas = 0,839 dan Munroe Multicultural Attitude Scale Questionnaire milik Munroe dan Pearson (2006) dengan reliabilitas = 0,879. Data diolah menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima dimana terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Intellectual Humility terhadap sikap multikultural mahasiswa perguruan tinggi negeri di DKI Jakarta. Intellectual Humility memiliki pengaruh sebesar 29,1% terhadap sikap multicultural mahasiswa perguruan tinggi negeri di DKI Jakarta dengan hasil signifikansi hipotesis 0,001 (p < 0,05). ********* This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of Intellectual Humility on the multicultural attitudes of state university students in DKI Jakarta. The research method used was quantitative with incidental sampling. The research subjects were state university students in DKI aged 18-30, with a total of 342 respondents. The measurement tools used in the study were the Comprehensive Intellectual Humility Scale adapted from Krumrei-Mancuso (2016) with reliability of 0.839, and the Munroe Multicultural Attitude Scale Questionnaire by Munroe and Pearson (2006) with reliability of 0.879. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The research results indicated that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, showing a significant influence of Intellectual Humility on the multicultural attitudes of state university students in DKI Jakarta. Intellectual Humility accounted for 29.1% of the variance in the multicultural attitudes of state university students in DKI Jakarta, with a significant hypothesis value of 0.001 (p < 0.05).
