Abstract

Dewasa ini, agar mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dan mengajarkan siswa keterampilan abad XXI digunakan metode pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang bersifat praktik dan terhubung dengan konteks kehidupan nyata. Metode PjBL digunakan dalam Praktik Kompetensi Mengajar (PKM) di SMK Negeri 41 Jakarta oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin Universitas Negeri Jakarta, yaitu membuat kelender meja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan PjBL bahasa Mandarin dalam kegiatan PKM di SMK Negeri 41 Jakarta. Lingkup penerapan dalam penelitian ini mencakupi perencanaan dan pelaksanaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode observasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kondisi pembelajaran bahasa Mandarin saat kegiatan PKM di kelas XI Bisnis Daring Pemasaran SMK Negeri 41 Jakarta pada semester ganjil 2022/2023 dengan total peserta didik sebanyak 35 orang. Peneliti mengacu langkah-langkah PjBL The George Lucas Educational Foundation dalam menyusun instrumen tabel observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PjBL berupa pembuatan kalender meja dapat membantu peserta didik memahami materi angka memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menarik, namun tetap relevan dengan materi yang harus dikuasi dan memiliki pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan. Mempertimbangkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, penerapan PjBL tidak dapat sepenuhnya dikerjakan secara mandiri dalam kelompok. Seluruh rangkaian PjBL harus mempunyai dasar yang kuat mengacu pada observasi pendahuluan, direncanakan dengan baik, serta dilakukan monitoring dalam pelaksanaannya. Nowadays, in order to achieve learning objectives and teach students 21stcentury skills, a very practical and connected to real-life contexts teaching method known as the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is employed. The PjBL method is used in Teaching Competency Practice (PKM) at Vocational High School 41 Jakarta by students of the Chinese Language Education Study Program Jakarta State University, by making calendar. This study aims to describe the implementation of PjBL on Chinese language in PKM activities at Vocational High School 41 Jakarta. The scope of implementation this study includes planning and application. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with the observation method. The data source in this research is the conditions of learning Mandarin during PKM activities in class XI Marketing Online Business at SMK Negeri 41 Jakarta in the odd semester of 2022/2023 with a total of 35 students. The researcher refers to the steps of the PjBL The George Lucas Educational Foundation in compiling the observation table instrument. The results showed that PjBL in the form of making a desk calendar can assist students in understanding numerical material, providing an engaging learning experience while remaining pertinent to the required subject matter and providing a fun learning experience. Considering the obtained research results, the implementation of PjBL cannot be fully carried out independently in groups. The entire sequence of PjBL must have a strong foundation based on preliminary observation, be well-planned, and monitored in its implementation.
