Abstract
Arsip Konvensional (Arsip Kertas) adalah Arsip yang informasinya terekam dalam Media Kertas yang berupa tulisan tangan ataupun ketikan. Kearsipan merupakan bagian Pekerjaan Kantor yang sangat penting, karena informasi yang tertulis harus tepat dan tersedia apabila diperlukan. Sistem Penataan Arsip (Filling System) adalah kegiatan mengatur dan menyusun Arsip dalam suatu tatanan yang sistematis, serta menyimpan dan merawat Arsip untuk digunakan secara aman dan ekonomis. Penataan Arsip yang benar harus sesuai dengan klasifikasinya, agar Arsip yang disimpan dapat ditemukan kembali dengan cepat dan tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Sistem Penataan Arsip Konvensional pada Kantor PN, khususnya Biro Sumber Daya Manusia dan Umum Sub Bagian Kearsipan. Pada penelitian ini, Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif studi kasus dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian menjelaskan bahwa Pegawai mengalami kesulitan ketika menemukan Arsip kembali, karena masih ditemukan Arsip Lama yang tidak diperlukan lagi belum dilakukan pemusnahan Arsip. ***** Conventional Archives (Paper Archives) are Archives whose information is recorded on Paper Media in the form of handwriting or typing. Archives are a very important part of Office Work, because written information must be accurate and available when needed. Archives Management System is an activity of organizing and compiling Archives in a systematic order, as well as storing and caring Archives for safe and economical use. The correct Management of Archives must be in accordance with classification, so that Archives stored can be found quickly and accurately. This Research aims to find out Conventional Archives Management System at the PN Office, especially Bureau of Human Resources and General Affairs Sub-Section of Archives. In this research, Researcher used case study qualitative research and data collection technique using observation, interview, and documentation. The Results of the Research explained that Employees had difficulty finding Archives again, because they found Old Archives that were no longer needed but had not destroyed Archives.
