Abstract

Haryanto Adi Nugroho, Rancang Bangun Kamus Elektronik Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia (SIBI) Berbasis Raspberry Pi. Skripsi, Jakarta, Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2020. Dosen Pembimbing Dr. Muhammad Yusro, M.T. dan Drs. Wisnu Djatmiko, M.T. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian rekayasa teknik yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan kamus elektronik sistem isyarat bahasa indonesia berbasis Raspberry Pi yang dapat menvisualisakan kata menjadi gerakan. Tahap penelitian meliputi : 1. study literatur, 2. perancangan alat, 3. persiapan alat dan bahan, 4. perancangan perangkat keras, 5. peracangan perangkat lunak, 6. pengujian sistem dan validasi, 7. analisis data, 8. kesimpulan. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini meliputi pengujian dan pengamatan terhadap unjuk kerja Kamus Elektronik Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia serta pengujian kelayakan yang dilakukan dengan memberikan angket kepada 5 siswa tunarungu SLB N Pringsewu. Validasi media pembelajaran ini melibatkan 2 ahli materi di bidang sistem isyarat bahasa indonesia serta 1 ahli media tunarungu. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Kamus Elektronik Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia yang berisi sistem Raspberry Pi, LCD Touchscreen 5 inch, RFID, dan Microphone. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perentase kelayakan media aspek validitas isi oleh ahli materi adalah sebesar 89,7%%, validitas konstruk dari ahli media sebesar 87,95%, dan dari hasil uji coba pemakaian didapat data kelayakan media sebesar 87,90%. Dari ketiga perolehan tersebut, media pembelajaran ini masuk dalam kategori sangat layak untuk digunakan oleh tunarungu untuk menvisualisasikan kata menjadi gerakan. This research is a type of engineering research that aims to produce an electronic dictionary of Raspberry Pi-based Indonesian Sign Language Systems that can visualize words into movements. The research phase includes: 1. Literature Study, 2. Tool Design, 3. Equipment and Material Preparation, 4. Hardware Design, 5. Software Design, 6. System Testing and Validation, 7. Data Analysis, 8. Conclusion. The method used in collecting data in this study included testing and observing the performance of the Indonesian Dictionary of Electronic Signs Systems and the feasibility testing carried out by giving questionnaires to 5 students with hearing impairment at SLB N Pringsewu. The validation of this learning media involves 2 material experts in the field of Indonesian signaling systems and 1 deaf media expert. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. An Indonesian Sign Language Dictionary which contains a Raspberry Pi system, 5 inch LCD Touchscreen, RFID, and Microphone. On the results of the dictionary performance test, note that RFID, LCD and Microphone can work well The results showed the percentage of media feasibility aspects of the content validity by material experts was 89.7 %%, the construct validity of the media experts was 87.95%, and the results of the trial use obtained media feasibility data of 87.90%. Of the three gains, this learning media is included in the category of very feasible to be used by the deaf to visualize words into movements
