Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap penerimaan diri mantan wanita tuna susila di Panti Sosial Bina Karya Wanita Harapan Mulia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 50 responden dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data berlangsung sejak bulan Februari – Oktober 2023. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur dukungan sosial teman sebaya adalah Interpersonal Support Evaluation List (ISEL) dan untuk mengukur penerimaan diri adalah Unconditional Self-Acceptance Questionnaire (USAQ). Data yang diolah sudah memenuhi uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi regresi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap penerimaan diri. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 23,4% yang berarti dukungan sosial teman sebaya mempengaruhi penerimaan diri eks wanita tuna susila dan 76,6% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini. Kata kunci: dukungan sosial teman sebaya, eks wanita tuna susila, masalah kesejahteraan sosial, penerimaan diri ************* This research aims to determine the influence of social support from peers on the self-acceptance of former prostitutes at the Bina Karya Wanita Harapan Mulia Social Home. This research uses associative quantitative methods. This research involved 50 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection took place from February – October 2023. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire. The instrument used to measure peer social support is the Interpersonal Support Evaluation List (ISEL) and to measure self-acceptance is the Unconditional Self-Acceptance Questionnaire (USAQ). The processed data has met the validity and reliability tests. The data analysis technique uses a simple linear regression test which is used to test the research hypothesis. The research results show a regression significance value of 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there is a significant influence between social support from peers on self-acceptance. Furthermore, the research results obtained a coefficient of determination value of 23.4%, which means that social support from peers influences the self-acceptance of former prostitutes and the other 76.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
