Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Penelitian ini melibatkan 198 responden mahasiswa aktif dari angkatan 2022 pada Program Studi di Rumpun Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga (IKK), Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian dilakukan dari bulan Februari 2023 sampai dengan Desember 2023. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kecukupan uang saku adalah Perceived Income Adequacy for Current Needs and Wants (15 butir pernyataan) dan untuk mengukur kesejahteraan subjektif adalah The Modified BBC Subjective Well-being Scale (61 butir pernyataan). Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling. Dari hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji koefisien korelasi, diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,465 yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang cukup kuat antara kecukupan uang saku dengan kesejahteraan subjektif. Berdasarkan uji signifikansi diperoleh nilai thitung 7,352>1,972 yang menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kecukupan uang saku dengan kesejahteraan subjektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kecukupan uang saku dengan kesejahteraan subjektif pada mahasiswa. ***** This study uses a correlational quantitative method. This study involved 198 active student respondents from the class of 2022 in the Study Program in the Family Welfare Science Cluster, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta. The research was conducted from February 2023 to December 2023. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire. The instrument used to measure the adequacy of pocket money is Perceived Income Adequacy for Current Needs and Wants (15 items) and to measure subjective well-being is The Modified BBC Subjective Well-being Scale (61 items). The sampling technique in this study used proportionate stratified random sampling. From the results of hypothesis testing using the correlation coefficient test, a correlation coefficient value of 0.465 was obtained, indicating that there is a fairly strong relationship between pocket money sufficiency and subjective well-being. Based on the significance test, the t value is 7.352>1.972 which shows that there is a significant relationship between the adequacy of pocket money and subjective well-being. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the pocket money sufficiency and subjective well-being in college students.
