Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi adaptasi masyarakat dalam menghadapi bencana banjir di Kelurahan Bidara Cina. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan triangulasi sumber dan teknik analisis fenomenologi yang didasarkan pada pengalaman informan. Informan kunci pada penelitian ini adalah kepala seksi pemerintahan dan ketua RT, informan pendukung adalahm asyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk adaptasi di bidang pengetahuan dan pengalaman ditandai lebih seringnya masyarakat mencari informasi terkait bencana banjir, melakukan tindakan pra bencana dan mengurangi penggunaan lantai satu rumah. Bidang perekonomian, lebih berorientasi pada pemanfaatan bantuan dan sumbangan yang tersedia karena sebagian besar masyarakat memiliki pendapatan yang hanya cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari – hari. Bidang sosial terlihat melalui sikap gotong royong dan saling memberikan bantuan ketika sebelum, saat, dan setelah bencana banjir terjadi. Bidang teknologi dan informasi masyarakat memanfaatkan Aplikasi Sistem Peringatan Dini Banjir, Whatsapp group dan DEWS (Digital Early Warning System) untuk memperoleh informasi terkait ketinggian air Ci Liwung dan potensi terjadinya bencana banjir. Bidang infrastruktur bangunan, mayoritas masyarakat telah meninggikan fondasi bangunan ataupun membangun tempat tinggalnya menjadi dua lantai. Kata Kunci: Bentuk Adaptasi, Bencana Banjir, Wilayah Rawan Bencana Banjir, Kelurahan Bidara Cina *** This research aims to identify community forms adaptations in facing flood disasters in Bidara Cina Subdistrict. The study employs a qualitative method with a triangulation of sources approach and phenomenological analysis technique based on informant experiences. Key informants for this research include government section heads and neighborhood association (RT) leaders, while supporting informants comprise community members. The research findings reveal adaptation in the areas of knowledge and experience, characterized by an increased tendency among the community to seek information related to flood disasters, take pre-disaster actions, and reduce the use of ground floors in their houses. In the economic aspect, there is a greater focus on utilizing available aid and contributions, as most of the community has income sufficient only for daily needs. In the social sphere, a sense of mutual cooperation and assistance is evident before, during, and after flood disasters. In terms of technology and information, the community utilizes the Flood Early Warning System Application, WhatsApp groups, and DEWS (Digital Early Warning System) to obtain information regarding the water level of the Ci Liwung river and the potential occurrence of flood disasters. In the infrastructure sector, the majority of the community has elevated the foundations of their buildings or constructed two-story residences.
