Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Mengetahui strategi adaptasi yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial di masa Endemi, (2) Mengetahui faktor-faktor mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dalam melakukan strategi adaptasi perkuliahan di masa Endemi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Strategi adaptasi yang paling dominan yaitu strategi adaptasi akademik dan sosial. Strategi adaptasi akademik berfokus pada motivasi menurut McClelland dibagian kebutuhan prestasi. Dalam hal ini mengacu pada motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa yang didukung oleh harapan. Kemudian strategi adaptasi sosial berfokus pada other people menurut penelitian Ismail terkait interaksi sosial dalam adaptasi sosial. (2) Berdasarkan faktor internal, konsep diri menjadi faktor dominan mahasiswa karena dengan mengenal dan memahami diri sendiri dapat mendukung perkuliahan. Berdasarkan faktor eksternal, keluarga dan teman menjadi faktor dominan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial hal ini karena bentuk dukungan yang diberikan sangat berpengaruh dalam perkuliahan. *** The study aims to: (1) To find out the adaptation strategies carried out by students of the Faculty of Social Sciences during the Endemic period, (2) Find out the factors of Faculty of Social Sciences students in carrying out lecture adaptation strategies during the Endemic period. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The research subjects were students of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The results of this research show that: (1) The most dominant adaptation strategies are academic and social adaptation strategies. Academic adaptation strategies focus on motivation according to McClelland in the need for achievement section. In this case it refers to student achievement motivation which is supported by hope. Then the social adaptation strategy focuses on other people according to Ismail's research regarding social interaction in social adaptation. (2) Based on internal factors, self-concept is the dominant factor for students because knowing and understanding themselves can support their studies. Based on external factors, family and friends are the dominant factors for students at the Faculty of Social Sciences, this is because the form of support provided is very influential in studying.
