Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kelayakan dari pengembangan permainan Jenga Geografi (JeGe) sebagai media evaluasi pada materi lapisan atmosfer. Metode yang digunakan adalah mix methode dengan desain penelitian Educational Design Research model Plomp & Nieveen. Lokasi penelitian di SMAN 71 Jakarta. Waktu penelitian bulan Februari-Juni 2023. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, expert judgment, dan angket. Penelitian terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu preliminary research berupa analisis kebutuhan guru, kebutuhan peserta didik, dan kebutuhan pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran. Tahap selanjutnya prototype phase dilakukan dengan merancang produk hingga menghasilkan Jenga Geografi (JeGe) kemudian dilakukan validasi ahli oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan penilaian guru geografi. Hasil kelayakan skor rerata keseluruhan ahli materi yaitu 3.5 (sangat baik) dengan presentase kelayakan 88% (sangat layak) dan hasil validasi ahli media 4.0 (sangat baik) dengan presentase kelayakan 100% (sangat layak). Hasil penilaian guru geografi mendapatkan skor rerata keseluruhan yaitu 3.62 (sangat baik) dan presentase kelayakan 90% (sangat layak). Tahap terakhir yaitu assesment phase dilakukan uji coba dengan hasil uji coba kelompok kecil oleh 12 peserta didik mendapatkan skor rerata keseluruhan yaitu 3.53 (sangat baik) dan presentase kelayakan 88% (sangat layak). Hasil uji coba kelompok besar oleh 24 peserta didik mendapatkan skor rerata keseluruhan yaitu 3.59 (sangat baik) dan presentase kelayakan 90% (sangat layak). Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menghasilkan media evaluasi Jenga Geografi (JeGe) keseluruhan sudah melalui tahapan pengembangan dan telah mendapatkan kategori kelayakan yaitu sangat layak sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai media evaluasi pada materi lapisan atmosfer. **** This research aims to determine the feasibility of developing a geographic Jenga game as an evaluation medium for atmospheric layer materials. The method used is a mix method with a Plomp & Nieveen Educational Design Research model research design. The research location is at SMAN 71 Jakarta. The research time is February-June 2023. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, expert judgment, and questionnaires. The research consists of 3 stages, namely preliminary research in the form of analysis of teacher needs, student needs, and the need for implementing learning evaluation. The next stage of the prototype phase is carried out by designing the product to produce geographic Jenga (JeGe) then expert validation is carried out by material experts, media experts, and assessment by geography teachers. The overall average score for material experts is 3.5 (very good) with a feasibility percentage of 88% (very feasible) and media expert validation results are 4.0 (very good) with a feasibility percentage of 100% (very feasible). The geography teacher's assessment results obtained an overall average score of 3.62 (very good) and a feasibility percentage of 90% (very feasible). The final stage, namely the assessment phase, carried out trials with the results of small group trials by 12 students getting an overall average score of 3.53 (very good) and a feasibility percentage of 88% (very feasible). The results of large group trials by 24 students obtained an overall average score of 3.59 (very good) and a feasibility percentage of 90% (very feasible). Thus, this research produces a geographical Jenga (JeGe) evaluation media that has gone through the development stages in its entirety and has received a feasibility category, namely very feasible so that it can be used as an evaluation media for atmospheric layer materials.
