Abstract

ABSTRAK Rike Nur Ramadana, ANALISIS SISTEM PROTEKSI PENANGKAL PETIR DI HOTEL AYOLA LIPPO CIKARANG. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Dosen Pembimbing: Massus Subekti, M.T. dan Prof. Dr. Suyitno M., M.Pd.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuain sistem proteksi penangkal petir di Hotel Ayola Lippo Cikarang dengan SNI 03-7015-2004 dan PUIPP, berdasarkan kebutuhan kapasitas penangkal petir, perhitungan daerah proteksi sistem penangkal petir dan sistem pentanahannya.   Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi komponen utama sistem proteksi penangkal petir, mengukur tahanan pentanahan dan melakukan uji konektivitas. Data yang diperoleh selama penelitian, baik data primer maupun data sekunder akan diolah untuk mengetahui kesesuaian sistem proteksi penangkal petir dengan SNI 03-7015-2004 dan PUIPP.   Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hotel Ayola Lippo Cikarang membutuhkan kapasitas penangkal petir dengan nilai efisiensi yaitu 90 % sehingga Hotel Ayola Lippo Cikarang memerlukan sistem proteksi penangkal petir dengan level III. Radius perlindungan sistem proteksi penangkal petir terhadap daerah sekitarnya sejauh 150,12 m dengan luas 70.763,07 m2. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa sistem proteksi penangkal petir yang ada pada Hotel Ayola Lippo Cikarang sudah melindungi seluruh bangunna Hotel Ayola Lippo Cikarang dengan baik. Sistem pentanahan pada Hotel Ayola Lippo Cikarang memiliki nilai grounding sebesar 4,7hampir mendekati batas maksimal nilai tahanan pentanahan berdasarkan standar PUIPP dan SNI 03-7015-2004 dengan nilai standar tidak boleh lebih dari 5. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa, sistem proteksi penangkal petir pada Hotel Ayola Lippo Cikarang dalam keadaan terpasang dengan baik, namun lebih memperhatikan nilai tahanan grounding yang hampir mendekati batas maksimal nilai tahanan pentanahan. This research aims to determine the suitability of the lightning rod protection system at the Hotel Ayola Lippo Cikarang with SNI 03-7015-2004 and PUIPP, based on the lightning rod capacity requirements, calculation of the protection area of the lightning rod system and the grounding system. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Data collection was carried out by observing the main components of the lightning protection system, measuring ground resistance and carrying out connectivity tests. The data obtained during the research, both primary data and secondary data, will be processed to determine the suitability of the lightning protection system with SNI 03-7015-2004 and PUIPP. The research results show that the Ayola Lippo Cikarang Hotel requires a lightning protection capacity with an efficiency value of 90% so that the Ayola Lippo Cikarang Hotel requires a level III lightning protection system. The protection radius of the lightning protection system for the surrounding area is 150,12 m with an area of 70.763,07 m2. So it can be said that the lightning protection system at the Ayola Lippo Cikarang Hotel has protected the entire building of the Ayola Lippo Cikarang Hotel well. The grounding system at Hotel Ayola Lippo Cikarang has a grounding value of 4.7, almost close to the maximum limit of grounding resistance value based on PUIPP standards and SNI 03-7015-2004 with a standard value of no more than 5. It can be concluded that, the lightning protection system at Hotel Ayola Lippo Cikarang is well installed, but pay more attention to the grounding resistance value which is almost close to the maximum grounding resistance value.
