Abstract

Permasalahan yang ditemukan sehingga dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah rendahnya tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai konsep diri, locus of control dan perencanaan karir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran serta hubungan dari ketiga variable tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Elektro FT UNJ angkatan 2019 dan 2020. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode proportionate stratified random sampling dengan perhitungan rumus slovin dan menghasilkan sampel berjumlah 71 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data diambil menggunakan instrumen berupa angket. Angket digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari ketiga variable, dan hasilnya akan dianalisa menggunakan uji koefisien korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara konsep diri dengan perencanaan karir seperti yang ditunjukkan pada nilai rhitung > rtabel (0,618 > 0,235); (2) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara locus of control dengan perencanaan karir seperti yang ditunjukkan pada nilai rhitung > rtabel (0,521 > 0,235); (3) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara konsep diri dan locus of control secara bersama-sama dengan perencanaan karir seperti yang ditunjukkan pada nilai rhitung > rtabel (0,661 > 0,279). Kata kunci: Konsep Diri, Locus of Control, Perencanaan Karir ***** The problem found that led to this research was the low level of students' understanding of self-concept, locus of control and career planning. This research aims to determine the description and relationship level of these three variables.The This research is correlational research with a quantitative approach. The population in this research were electrical engineering students from the class of 2019 and 2020. The sampling technique used the proportionate stratified random sampling method with the Slovin formula calculation and resulted in a sample of 71 students. Data collection was taken using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. A questionnaire is used to collect data from the three variables, and the results will be analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient test. The result showed: (1) There is a positive and significant relationship between self-concept and career planning as shown in the value of rcount > rtable (0.618 > 0.235); (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between locus of control and career planning as shown in the value of rcount > rtable (0.521 > 0.235); (3) There is a positive and significant relationship between self-concept and locus of control together with career planning as shown in the value of rcount > rtable (0.661 > 0.279).
