Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran perawatan kulit wajah dengan pendekatan Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan Augmented Reality (AR). Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu dengan metode penelitian pengembangan atau research and development (R&D). Pengembangan ini menggunakan model Borg and Gall, Dick and Carey dan Lee Owen. Sintak PBL yang digunakan mengadopsi model Barrow dan Tan untuk menyajikan pembelajaran perawatan kulit wajah. Model yang dikembangkan telah melalui tahap validasi expert judgment, dilanjutkan dengan one to one, small group dan field trial yang menunjukkan model pembelajaran perawatan kulit wajah dengan pendekatan PBL berbantuan AR layak digunakan, Pengujian dilanjutkan dengan uji efektivitas pada mahasiswa dengan hasil efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran perawatan kulit wajah dengan pendekatan PBLberbantuan AR, yang berdasarkan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest masingmasing sebesar 63 dan 87. Berdasarkan hasil uji t-test diketahui harga t-hitung sebesar 22,480, dan harga t-tabel sebesar 2,045. Karena harga t-hitung lebih besar daripada t-tabel maka, terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan. Dari nilai rerata Ngain sebesar 0,65, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar pada pembelajaran perawatan kulit wajah dengan pendekatan PBL berbantuan AR. This study aims to develop a facial skincare learning model using a Problem-Based Learning approach supported by Augmented Reality (AR). The approach employed in this research encompasses both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, utilizing the research and development (R&D) method. Its development uses the model of Borg and Gall, Dick and Carey and Lee Own. The syntax of the ProblemBased Learning (PBL) utilized in this research adopts the model proposed by Barrow and Tan for delivering facial skincare learning. The developed model has undergone a validation process involving expert judgment, followed by one-to-one evaluations, Small group and field trials have demonstrated that the facial skincare learning model, utilizing the Problem-Based Learning approach supported by Augmented Reality (AR), is deemed suitable for use. Subsequently, an effectiveness test was conducted, which showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes after using the facial skincare learning model with the Problem-Based Learning approach supported by AR. This improvement is evident from the average pretest and posttest scores, which were 63 and 87, respectively. Based on the results of the t-test, it is determined that the calculated t-value is 22.480, while the tabulated t-value is 2.045. Because the calculated t-value is greater than the tabulated t-value, it indicates a significant increase in the average learning outcomes. Moreover, with an average N-gain value of 0.65, it signifies an improvement in learning outcomes in facial skincare learning using the Problem-Based Learning approach assisted by Augmented Reality (AR).
