Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) terhadap pemahaman konsep dalam geometri peserta didik kelas VI Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Jagakarsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Posttest Only Nonequivalent Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VI di SDN yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Jagakarsa. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VI A sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 31 dan peserta didik kelas VI B sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 31. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran saintifik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes berupa soal uraian yang telah diuji validitas dan reabilitasnya. Instrumen tersebut juga dilakukan prasyarat data dengan menggunakan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Selanjutnya data akan dilakukan analisis hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai t_hitung (2,90) > t_tabel (1,67). Dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) memiliki pengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep dalam geometri peserta didik kelas VI SD di Kecamatan Jagakarsa. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning model type Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) on concept understanding in geometry of 6^th grade primary school students in Jagakarsa District. This research used a quantitative experimental method with a Posttest Only Nonequivalent Group Design research design. The population in this study were all grade VI students in primary schools located in Jagakarsa District. The sample in this research were students of class VI A as an experimental class of 31 and students of class VI B as a control class of 31. The technique of getting the sample was cluster sampling technique. The experimental class used the cooperative learning model type STAD and the control class used the scientific learning model. Data were collected used a test instrument in the form of description questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. The instrument is also carried out data prerequisites using normality and homogeneity tests. Furthermore, the data will be analyzed using t-test. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test obtained the value of t_count (2,90) > t_table (1,67). From these results indicate that the cooperative learning model type Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) has an influence on concepts understanding in geometry of grade VI primary school students in Jagakarsa District.
