Abstract

Proses penilaian menulis, khususnya menilai teks berupa artikel opini, dapat menjadi kendala bagi guru. Ketiadaan komponen penilaian bagi guru dan kesulitan siswa dalam menghasilkan tesis dapat berpengaruh terhadap keobjektifan penilaian. Bentuk jawaban yang berupa wacana tertulis juga berpengaruh bagi kecepatan penilaian oleh guru. Penelitian ini berupaya mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi instrumen penilaian keterampilan menulis artikel opini bahasa Indonesia berbasis komputer. Aplikasi “Si Pinter Mobi” berupa computer-based test (CBT) dengan akses tautan berbasis web sehingga merupakan kategori web-based test (WBT). Aplikasi ini menggunakan sistem penilaian berbasis mesin dan manusia (machine rater dan human rater). Adanya rubrik penilaian yang sesuai untuk struktur teks opini yang dikemas dengan bantuan machine rater dapat menjadikan penilaian oleh guru relatif lebih mudah dan lebih cepat diselesaikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan penerapan ADDIE. Langkah-langkah preprocessing dalam pemrosesan bahasa alami (natural language processing-NLP) digunakan untuk mendukung penilaian oleh mesin, termasuk untuk pencocokan dengan data huruf kapital, tanda baca, dan ketepatan struktur kalimat. Penilaian antarmuka (scoring interface) disediakan untuk guru sebagai human rater yang menilai dari segi kosakata, konten wacana, dan organisasi. Dari hasil penilaian keidealan produk, aplikasi ini layak dari segi materi kebahasaan dan sangat layak dari segi teknologi informasi. Hasil uji coba oleh guru dan siswa menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini sangat praktis. The writing assessment process, especially assessing opinion text, can be an obstacle for teachers. The absence of assessment components for teachers and students’ difficulties ini producing a thesis can affect the objectivity of the form of answers in the form of written discourse also influences the speed of assessment by the teacher. This research seeks to develop a computer-based Indonesian language opinion article writing skill assessment instrument application. The “Si Pinter Mobi” (sipintermobi.id) application is a computer-based test (CBT) with web-based link access so it is in the web-based test (WBT) category. This application uses a machine and human based assessment system (machine rater and human rater). Having an appropriate assessment rubric for the structure of opinion texts packaged with the help of a machine rater can make teacher assessment relatively easier and quicker to complete. This research is development research white the application of ADDIE. Preprocessing steps in natural language processing (NLP) are used to support machine scoring, including for matching data on capitalization, punctuation, and sentence structure accuracy. Interface assessment (scoring interface) is provided for teachers as human raters who assess in terms of vocabulary, discourse content, and organization. From the results of the product ideality assessment, this application is feasible in terms of linguistic material and very feasible in terms of information technology. Test results by teachers and students show that this application is very practical.
