Abstract

Masih banyak peneliti yang kurang memahami cara menemukan unsur kebaruan (novelty), hal tersebut disebabkan karena fenomena yang terjadi disekitar maupun yang sedang menjadi perhatian (state of the art) tidak dikaji lagi secara mendalam. Selain itu, dalam menentukan unsur kebaruan penelitian diperlukan upaya mencari celah riset (gap research) yang menyatakan perbedaan terhadap hasil-hasil penelitian terdahulu. Upaya peningkatan pemahaman mengenai kebaruan penelitian dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan pemilihan media pembelajaran yang tepat. Penggunaan media audio-visual dapat meningkatkan kualitas pemahaman materi ajar. Teori yang menegaskan bahwa materi akan semakin mudah dicerna, apabila lebih dari satu panca indera digunakan saat proses pembelajaran. Lalu dibuktikan dengan hasil penelitian yang menyatakan bahwa media audio-visual dapat meningkatkan pemahaman materi khususnya pada konsep dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan E-learning Content audio-visual sebagai upaya peningkatan pemahaman pada materi Kebaruan Penelitian (Novelty). Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model penelitian 4D (Define, Design, Develope, Dessiminate) yang dimodifikasi Tegeh et al. (2019). Kuisioner selanjutnya diberikan kepada Ahli media dan Ahli materi untuk menilai kelayakan produk, selain itu dilakukan juga survey kepuasan pengguna kepada minimal 15 responden. E-learning Content berbasis podcast yang telah dikembangkan dengan metode Research and Development model 4D Modifikasi Tegeh et al. (2019) dengan hasil keduanya baik, 78% (kategori layak) untuk materi dan 96% untuk media, dikategorikan sangat layak. Hasil dari survey kepuasan pengguna memiliki rata-rata persentase dari total 15 mahasiswa yang mengisi survey yaitu 85% dengan kategori sangat puas dengan kualitas. Dengan demikian E-learning Content berbasis podcast untuk materi kebaruan penelitian (novelty) Sangat Layak untuk digunakan sebagai Konten berbasis digital dan Media Pembelajaran utama ataupun suplemen. Many researchers still lack an understanding of how to discover the element of novelty. This is because phenomena occurring in the surrounding environment or those currently under consideration (state of the art) are not deeply examined. Additionally, in determining the novelty of research, efforts are required to find research gaps that state differences from previous research results. Improving understanding of research novelty can be achieved by utilizing appropriate learning media. The use of audio-visual media can enhance the quality of understanding of teaching materials. The theory asserts that materials are easier to digest when more than one sense is utilized during the learning process. This is supported by research results stating that audio-visual media can improve understanding of materials, particularly in the concepts and skills of problemsolving. The research aims to produce audio-visual E-learning content as an effort to enhance understanding of Novelty in Research materials. The method used is Research and Development with the 4D research model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) modified from Tegeh et al. (2019). The data collection technique used is a non-test questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale (1-5). The questionnaire is then given to media experts and subject matter experts to assess the feasibility of the product. Additionally, user satisfaction surveys are conducted with a minimum of 15 respondents. The podcast-based E-learning content developed using the Research and Development model 4D Modification Tegeh et al. (2019) has yielded positive results, with 78% (categorized as acceptable) for materials and 96% for media, categorized as highly acceptable. The user satisfaction survey results show an average percentage from a total of 15 students who participated in the survey, which is 85% categorized as very satisfied with the quality. Therefore, the podcastbased E-learning content for novelty in research materials is highly suitable for use as a primary or supplementary digital content and learning media.
