Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui berapa pergerakan permainan dalam cabang bulutangkis yang dilihat dari jarak metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah atlet yang bertanding pada kejuaraan Madrid Spain Masters 2023 yang berjumlah 32 atlet dan Kumamoto Masters Japan 2023 yang berjumlah 31 atlet. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling, sehingga sampel yang digunakan adalah 10 video dokumenter tunggal putri Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan pengamatan video yang ada di Youtube pada kejuaraan Madrid Spain Masters 2023 dan Kumamoto masters Japan 2023 dan kemudian memasukkannya ke dalam tabel berdasarkan jarak gerak permainan yang ingin dihitung selama pertandingan berlangsung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif yaitu: reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jarak gerak area cover dalam satu pertandingan untuk kejuaraan Madrid Spain Masters 2023 rata-ratanya adalah 799,395 meter dan untuk kejuaraan Kumamoto masters Japan 2023 rata-ratanya adalah 797,995 meter. Sehingga disarankan kepada para pelatih untuk memberikan latihan sesuai dengan karakteristik cabang bulutangkis yang dapat dilihat berdasarkan jarak pergerakan yang terjadi selama permainan berlangsung. ***** This research aims to find out how much movement the game plays in badminton as seen from a distance. The research method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method. The research population was athletes competing in the Madrid Spain Masters 2023 championship, totaling 32 athletes and Kumamoto Masters Japan 2023, totaling 31 athletes. The sampling technique used was a purposive sampling technique, so the samples used were 10 documentary videos of Indonesian women's singles. The data collection technique is carried out by observing videos on YouTube at the Madrid Spain Masters 2023 and Kumamoto Masters Japan 2023 championships and then entering them into a table based on the distance of the game that you want to calculate during the match. The data analysis technique uses qualitative analysis techniques, namely: reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the average distance of the cover area in one match for the Madrid Spain Masters 2023 championship is 799.395 meters and for the Kumamoto Masters Japan 2023 championship the average is 797.995 meters. So it is recommended for coaches to provide training according to the characteristics of badminton which can be seen based on the distance of movement that occurs during the game.
