Abstract

***** This research aims to develop learning media "Quantum Chem Board" which integrates Computational Thinking in chemistry material for grade XI students at SMAIT NFSB Bogor. The components of Computational Thinking integrated in this board game include alghorithm, pattern recognition, abstraction, and decomposition. This type of research is development research that refers to the Hannafin & Peck model which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, development and implementation with a revision and evaluation process at each stage. The results at the implementation and evaluation stages are shown by the results of the feasibility test by media experts and material experts. The results of the media experts showed a score of 4.56, meaning that this media is feasible from the aspect of the completeness of the media components, its use and its usefulness in facilitating student learning. The results of the material experts showed a score of 4.7, meaning that the material presented in this media is good in readability, suitability of needs, and in accordance with the topics discussed. The implementation of the use of "Quantum Chem Board" media by high school students showed an N-Gain score of 0.7, which means that this media is quite effective in improving chemistry learning outcomes. The results of interviews about the use of this Quantum Chem Board show an increase in student enthusiasm in learning chemistry and can hone students' ability to organize strategies and solve problems. The next research recommendation is to develop board games in digital form so that their use is more effective and efficient.
