Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengendalian diri dan adiksi media sosial terhadap perilaku phubbing pada siswa SMA di DKI Jakarta. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMA di Jakarta dengan sampel sebanyak 400 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik insidental sampling. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan BSCS, SMAS-SF, dan GSP. Pengumpulan data dengan BSCS, SMAS-SF, dan GSP yang telah dilakukan uji validasi dan reliabilitas. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji analisis regresi linear berganda dengan spss versi 20. Hasil koefisien regresi antara variabel pengendalian diri dan adiksi media sosial terhadap perilaku phubbing menunjukkan nilai koefisien -0,296 dan 0,325 artinya jika pengendalian diri siswa rendah pada aspek ketahanan dan adiksi media sosial siswa tinggi pada aspek toleransi virtual maka perilaku phubbing siswa akan tinggi pada aspek nomophobia. Secara simultan, terdapat pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap pengendalian diri dan adiksi media sosial terhadap perilaku phubbing pada siswa SMA di DKI Jakarta sebesar 43,4%. Implementasi dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan teknik podomoro, memasang aplikasi untuk mengurangi waktu penggunaan media sosial, dan pemberian treatment CBT oleh guru BK. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of self-control and social media addiction on phubbing behavior in high school students in DKI Jakarta. The study population was high school students in Jakarta with a sample of 400 students. Sampling using incidental sampling technique. The study used a quantitative approach. Data collection with BSCS, SMAS-SF, and GSP. Data collection with BSCS, SMAS-SF, and GSP which has been tested for validation and reliability. The results of the regression coefficient between the variables of self-control and social media addiction on phubbing behavior show a coefficient value of -0.296 and 0.325, meaning that if students' self-control is low in the resilience aspect and students' social media addiction is high in the virtual tolerance aspect, students' phubbing behavior will be high in the nomophobia aspect. Simultaneously, there is a significant influence on self-control and social media addiction on phubbing behavior in high school students in DKI Jakarta by 43.4%. Implementation can be done by applying podomoro techniques, installing applications to reduce the time of using social media, and providing CBT treatment by counseling teachers.
