Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran STEM terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif pada muatan ilmu pengetahuan alam dan sosial pada kelas V SDN Cipinang Besar Utara 03. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA yang berjumlah 23 orang pada kelas eksperimen dan juga siswa kelas VB yang berjumlah 23 orang pada kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes tulis berupa soal uraian yang berjumlah 10 soal. Berdasarkaan hasil pengolahan data secara statistik dengan uji analisis data menggunakan uji Independent Sample t�Test diperoleh hasil thitung sebesar 1,734 adapun harga ttabel pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 dan dk= 44 adalah sebesar 1,680. Oleh karena itu harga thitung lebih dari harga ttabel (1,734 > 1,680), artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari penggunaan model pembelajaran STEM terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa kelas V sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Jatinegara, Jakarta Timur”. ***** This research aims to determine the effect of the STEM learning model on reflective thinking skills in natural and social science content in class V of SDN Cipinang Besar Utara 03. This research uses an experimental method with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group design. The samples used in this research were 23 VA class students in the experimental class and 23 VB class students in the control class. The instrument used in this research was a written test in the form of essay questions totaling 10 questions. Based on the results of statistical data processing with data analysis tests using the Independent Sample t-Test, the tcount result was 1.734, while the ttable value at the significance level α = 0.05 and dk = 44 was 1.680. Therefore, the tcount value is more than the ttable price (1.734 > 1.680), meaning that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, it can be concluded that "There is a positive and significant influence from the use of the STEM learning model on the reflective thinking abilities of fifth grade elementary school students in Jatinegara District , East Jakarta".
