Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan faktor – faktor yang jadi pendukung dan penghambat dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pendampingan kewirausahaan melalui pendampingan kewirausahaan tanaman hias. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengambilan data yaitu menggunakan purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian berjumlah empat orang terdiri dari seorang pendamping, dua orang masyarakat pendampingan, dan seorang masyarakat sekitar. Hasil penelitian menemukan kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat dipengaruhi oleh faktor pendukung diantaranya dukungan dari teman satu frekuensi, sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, komunikasi internal dan eksternal, partisipasi masyarakat dan tindakan sosial berjalan baik. Namun, dukungan pemerintah atau stakeholders yang menjadi faktor pendukung tidak dirasakan dalam kegiatan ini. Dalam penelitian, sesuai realitas di lapangan faktor penghambat ialah terbatasnya sumber daya manusia dalam pengelolaan keuangan maka membuat kegiatan pemberdayaan ini kurang memahami terkait penyusunan dan pengelolaan anggaran sehingga anggaran yang dibuat tidak akurat, lengkap dan terperinci. ***** The research was conducted with the aim of identifying and describing the factors that support and hinder community empowerment through entrepreneurship mentoring in ornamental plant cultivation. This study utilized a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were collected using purposive sampling. The research subjects consisted of four individuals, including one mentor, two community members receiving mentoring, and one community member from the surrounding area. The results of the study revealed that community empowerment activities were influenced by supportive factors such as support from peers, adequate facilities and infrastructure, internal and external communication, community participation, and successful social actions. However, the support from the government or stakeholders, which is considered a supportive factor, was not perceived in this activity. In line with the realities in the field, the inhibiting factor identified in the research was the limited human resources in financial management, leading to a lack of understanding in the preparation and management of budgets. Consequently, the budgets created were inaccurate, incomplete, and lacking in detail.
