Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapsiagaan masyarakat dalam menghadapi bencana kebakaran dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat kesiapsiagaan masyarakat dalam menghadapi bencana kebakaran. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Ketua RT dan tiga masyarakat yang dipilih melalui hasil kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kesiapsiagaan masyarakat berada dalam kategori "hampir siap" dengan nilai indeks 57 dari 100. Faktor pendukung kesiapsiagaan masyarakat adalah kebijakan Ketua RT setempat yang menghadirkan petugas pemadam kebakaran, kebijakan patungan pembelian isi APAR dan kebijakan penentuan lokasi evakuasi korban, lalu untuk faktor penghambatnya adalah kurangnya kepedulian masyarakat untuk belajar secara mandiri tentang materi kebencanaan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat hampir siap untuk menghadapi kebakaran dengan faktor pendukungnya adalah kebijakan Ketua RT dan faktor penghambatnya adalah kurangnya kepedulian masyarakat untuk belajar materi kebencanaan. Kata Kunci : Kesiapsiagaan, Masyarakat, Bencana, Kebakaran ***** This research aims to determine the level of community preparedness in facing fire disasters and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in community preparedness in facing fire disasters. This research uses a descriptive method. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, documentation and literature study. The subjects in this research were the Head of the RT and three communities selected through the results of a questionnaire. The results of the research show that the level of community preparedness is in the "almost ready" category with an index value of 57 out of 100. Supporting factors for community preparedness are the policy of the local RT Chairman who brings in firefighters, the joint policy of purchasing APAR contents and the policy of determining victim evacuation locations, then for factors The obstacle is the lack of public awareness to learn independently about disaster material. So it can be concluded that the community is almost ready to face fires with the supporting factor being the RT Head's policy and the inhibiting factor being the lack of community awareness in learning disaster material.
