Abstract

Teknologi yang semakin berkembang ini telah memberikan dampak yang cukup besar dalam dunia pendidikan seperti sekolah misalnya. perkembangan i ini membuat beberapa sekolah dikota besar mulai memodernisasi fasilitas yang ada terkait pendidikan secara bertahap. SMK Taruna Bangsa Kota Bekasi sebagai salah satu sekolah menengah kejuruan swasta yang ada di Kota Bekasi sudah mulai diperbarui dengan digitalisasi beberapa fasilitas yang ada. Akan tetapi, ada beberapa yang belum dan masih menggunakan metode manual yaitu absensi siswa misalnya. Inilah tantangan yang dihadapi oleh SMK Taruna Bangsa Kota Bekasi, yaitu upaya untuk memperbarui sistem absensi dengan yang lebih baik dengan mendigitalisasi. Quick Response Code (QR Code) dan WhatsApp Gateway menjadi salah satu teknologi yang bisa digunakan. Berdasarkan rumusan masalah, tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu, Merancang dan membangun sistem absensi siswa berbasis website menggunakan Quick Response Code (QR Code) dan WhatsApp Gateway ¬dengan metode Scrum di SMK Taruna Bangsa Kota Bekasi. Scrum adalah metode rekayasa software dengan menggunakan prinsip agile yang bertumpu pada kekuatan kolaborasi tim, incremental product dan proses iterasi untuk mewujudkan hasil akhir. Sesuai dengan hasil dari pengujian sistem yang dibagi pada beberapa pengujian yaitu black box dan juga UAT baik dari sisi admin, guru dan siswa masing-masing memiliki tingkat keberhasilan mencapai 100%. Berlandaskan hasil pengujian inilah dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem absensi siswa ini sudah layak dan dapat dipergunakan dengan sesungguhnuya. metode scrum yang digunakan juga dinilai cukup sesuai dengan perancangan dan pembangunan sistem yang dilakukan karena setiap proses pengembangan dapat di monitor dengan lebih mudah dan jika ada perubahan task yang dilakukan dengan lebih mudah. SMK Taruna Bangsa Bekasi City as one of the private vocational high schools in Bekasi City has begun to be updated by digitizing some of the existing facilities. However, there are some that have not and still use manual methods, namely student attendance for example. This is the challenge faced by SMK Taruna Bangsa Bekasi City, which is an effort to update the attendance system with a better one by digitizing it. Quick Response Code (QR Code) and WhatsApp Gateway are one of the technologies that can be used. Based on the formulation of the problem, the objectives of this study are, Designing and building a website-based student attendance system using Quick Response Code (QR Code) and WhatsApp Gateway using the Scrum method at SMK Taruna Bangsa Bekasi City. Scrum is a software engineering method using agile principles that relies on the strength of team collaboration, incremental products and the iteration process to realize the final result. In accordance with the results of system testing which are divided into several tests, namely black box and UAT, both from the admin, teacher and student sides, each has a success rate of 100%. Based on the results of this test, it can be concluded that this student attendance system is feasible and can be used properly. the scrum method used is also considered quite appropriate for the design and development of the system being carried out because each development process can be monitored more easily and if there are changes to the task that is done more easily.
