Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial sekolah terhadap prestasi nonakademik siswa SMPN 3 Jakarta. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu simple random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMPN 3 Jakarta yang pernah mengikuti dan memenangkan perlombaan nonakademik dengan jumlah 78 responden. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai signifikasi sebesar (Sig. 0,000). Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai Sig. < 0,05 , artinya terdapat pengaruh antara dukungan sosial sekolah terhadap prestasi nonakademik siswa. Berdasarkan hasil koefisien determinasi didapatkan R Square sebesar 0,659. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa variabel dukungan sosial sekolah berpengaruh terhadap prestasi nonakademik siswa sebesar 65,9% dan berada pada kategori kuat. Kata Kunci : Dukungan Sosial, Sekolah, Prestasi Nonakademik Siswa This research aims to determine the effect of school social support on the non-academic achievements of students at SMPN 3 Jakarta. This research design uses quantitative research with the sampling technique used, namely simple random sampling. The sample in this research was students of SMPN 3 Jakarta who had participated in and won non-academic competitions with a total of 78 respondents. The data collection method used was a questionnaire using a questionnaire as a research instrument. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the results of hypothesis testing obtained a significance value of (Sig. 0.000). Therefore it can be concluded that the Sig value. < 0.05, meaning that there is an influence between school social support on non-academic student achievement. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination, the R Square is 0.659. This proves that the school social support variable influences students' non-academic achievement by 65.9% and is in the strong category.
