Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengelolaan mangrove berkelanjutan dan konsep persepsi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan ekosistem mangrove di Kota Kendari Sulawesi Tenggara. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif, penelitian dilaksanakan di dua wilayah yaitu Nambo dan Bungkutoko Kota Kendari Sulawesi tenggara, dengan Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Area Purposive Sampling, untuk pengamatan ekosistem mangrove dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster sampling, responden masyarakat pesisir yang tergabung dalam kelompok nelayan. Populasi sampel penelitian ini dari kedua wilayah yaitu 34 sampel responden, yang tergabung dalam kelompok nelayan dan masyarakat pesisir, teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi secara langsung dan pengisian angket, penelitian ini menggunakan analisis perhitungan data colleting pengamatan mangrove, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas pada angket, penyajian data secara deskriptif dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengamatan mangrove yang dilakukan di wilayah Nambo, dengan indikator pengamatan secara ekologi hayati alami dan perubahan lingkungan adalah 20 ketentuan kriteria cukup memenuhi, sedangkan di wilayah Bungkutoko indikator pengamatan secara ekologi hayati alami dan perubahan lingkungan fisik adalah 32 dengan kriteria memenuhi, dilakukan pengelolaan mangrove berkelanjutan. Hasil dari persepsi masyarakat pesisir dengan pernyataan melalui kuesioner/angket secara analisis nilai persentase rata-rata menunjukan bahwa tingkat persepsi masyarakat kategori sedang mengenai konsep pengelolaan mangrove di wilayah Nambo, dan tingkat persepsi masyarakat kategori tinggi mengenai konsep pengelolaan mangrove di wilayah Bungkutoko. Pengelolaan mangrove berkelanjutan adanya keterlibatan masyarakat pesisir dan instansi pemerintahan setempat untuk menjaga kestabilan mangrove berkelanjutan memenuhi segala aspek dalam pengelolaan mangrove di Kota Kendari Sulawesi Tenggara. This research aims to determine sustainable mangrove management and the concept of community perception in managing mangrove ecosystems in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi. This research method uses descriptive quantitative, the research was carried out in two areas, namely Nambo and Bungkutoko, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi, with a sampling technique using Area Purposive Sampling, for observing mangrove ecosystems and using sampling techniques cluster sampling, coastal community respondents who are members of fishing groups. The sample population for this research is from both regions, namely 34 sample respondents, who are members of fishermen groups and coastal communities. The sample determination technique uses the formula slovin. Data collection is through direct observation and filling out questionnaires. This research uses data calculation analysis colleting mangrove observation, validity test, reliability test on questionnaires, descriptive data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that mangrove observations carried out in the Nambo area, with indicators for observations in terms of natural biological ecology and environmental changes, are 20 criteria that meet the requirements, while in the Bungkutoko area, indicators for observations based on natural biological ecology and changes in the physical environment are 32 with criteria that meet, carry out sustainable mangrove management. The results of coastal community perceptions with statements through questionnaires with analysis of the average percentage values show that the level of community perception is in the medium category regarding the concept of mangrove management in the Nambo area, and the level of community perception is in the high category regarding the concept of mangrove management in the Bungkutoko area. Sustainable mangrove management involves the involvement of coastal communities and local government agencies to maintain the stability of sustainable mangroves to fulfill all aspects of mangrove management in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi.
