Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan membandingkan koefisien gesek pada kampas ganda dengan pattern lug lurus, lug miring, dan lug V pada CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) Mio Sporty. Tiga bentuk pattern diuji, yaitu kampas ganda dengan pattern lug lurus, lug miring, dan lug V. Pengujian dilakukan dengan mengukur torsi dan RPM dari mangkok ganda dan pulley belakang serta menghitung gaya normal dan jari-jari efektif dari masing-masing kampas ganda. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kampas ganda dengan pattern lug lurus, miring dan V, menunjukkan koefisien gesek sebesar 0.41, 0,40, dan 0,44. Dengan demikian, bentuk pattern lug V dan lug lurus lebih disarankan untuk pengguna yang menginginkan akselerasi dan performa yang optimal. Penelitian ini menyarankan pengguna CVT Mio Sporty untuk memilih bentuk pattern kampas ganda yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka. Selain itu, produsen kampas ganda disarankan untuk melakukan lebih banyak penelitian tentang material dan desain kampas ganda untuk meningkatkan performa mereka. Diharapkan temuan ini akan membantu orang membuat pilihan yang lebih baik tentang pemilihan komponen CVT dan meningkatkan kualitas produk kampas ganda di pasar. ***** This research aims to test and compare the coefficient of friction on double canvases with straight lug patterns, slanted lug and V lug patterns on the Mio Sporty CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). Three forms of patterns were tested, namely double lining with straight lug patterns, slanted lug and V lug patterns. Testing was carried out by measuring the torque and RPM of the double bowl and rear pulley as well as calculating the normal force and effective radius of each double lining. Test results show that double canvases with straight, slanted and V lug patterns show friction coefficients of 0.41, 0.40 and 0.44. Thus, the shape of the V lug pattern and straight lugs are more recommended for users who want optimal acceleration and performance. This research advises Mio Sporty CVT users to choose a double canvas pattern that suits their needs. Additionally, double canvas manufacturers are advised to conduct more research on double canvas materials and designs to improve their performance. These findings will help people make better choices about CVT component selection and improve the quality of dual canvas products on the market.
